A 14-year-old Kousuke sat at his desk at school. He had nicely brown hair in a middle part. He wore his school uniform and rectangle framed glasses. He read a novel in class while other students talked to eachother and socialized. His teacher then entered the room, standing in front of the chalk board.
"Okay, let's start!" The teacher said. Kousuke put his book down, standing up and looking at the teacher. All the students then bowed,
"Please do your best!" Said the students in unison.
"Okay, be seated!" The teacher said. The student's sat down in their desk. Kousuke picked his book back up as the teacher began his lecture.
"Look at Kousuke, his nose is always in a book… How weird…" A girl gossiped to another quietly.
"He's so weird… He doesn't ever wanna join us at Karaoke…" A boy whispered in another's ear.
"My life sucked…" Kousuke said. Kousuke then stood at the edge of a bridge, looking out at the water. Kousuke closed his eyes, falling off the bridge. There was a loud thump. Kousuke opened and his body was steaming with a yellow tint.
"How many times did I jump from that same bridge…?" Kousuke asked.
"I don't remember… Lost count after 40…" Kousuke said.
"My body wouldn't let me die…" Kousuke said. At home, Kousuke sat in his bed, looking at the scars on his wrist. Akuno then walked into Kousuke's room.
"Everything okay son…?" Akuno asked. Kousuke looked at his father.
"He doesn't care about me… He cares about what I am…" Kousuke said. Akuno's face was then switched to a laughing ghoul.
"I'm fine," Kousuke said. Akuno raised a brow, putting his hand on his son's shoulder.
"When I was 13 I figured out I was half entity… I was different from everyone else, I could replicate their abilities perfectly… I could kill someone with the snap of a finger…" Kousuke said. A young Kousuke stood in front of his father.
"D-Dad! Look what I can do now!!" Kousuke shouted. Kousuke pointed his finger and a sphere started glowing above his finger. A rubber ball then appeared out of thin air. Kousuke caught the ball, holding the ball in his hand. Akuno looked surprised,
"Kousuke… Come with me…" Akuno said, his glasses glowing white. Akuno and Kousuke walked out of the penthouse, walking down the hallway of the building. Kousuke looked up at his dad, raising a brow.
"Dad, where are we going...?" Kousuke asked. Akuno didn't respond at first, then looked down at Kousuke, with a nervous smile.
"We're going on a little road trip... Just you and Dad..." Akuno said. Kousuke nodded, smiling.
"Back then... My father paid little attention to me because of his so-called ' important job'... The little amount of attention he gave me made me happy..." Kousuke said. Kousuke kept walking with his dad until they got to the car.
"So only him and I going on a road trip together... That was the dream..." Kousuke narrated. Kousuke sat in the car next to his dad as they were on the air freeway.
"Why didn't we bring any clothes...?" Kousuke asked. Akuno smiled,
"Our flight is soon so we didn't have time... But we'll go to a clothing store when we get to our destination..." Akuno said. Kousuke nodded, smiling brightly. A few hours later, the two arrived in The Holy Lands of Adiona. Kousuke looked around, shocked at what he saw.
"This is The Holy Land... We'll be staying in that large palace..." Akuno said, pointing at the royal castle. Kousuke grinned,
"Well! What're we waiting for!" Kousuke shouted, running toward the castle. Akuno smiled slyly,
"Don't run off too far son... I'm on my way..." Akuno said. Kousuke would run as a man in a dark cloak appeared next to him.
"Run." Said the cloaked figure. Kousuke turned to look at the figure, but he was gone. Kousuke raised a brow, scratching the side of his head.
"Who was that...?" Kousuke said. Kousuke shook his head, turning around and continuing to run toward the castle. When Kousuke finally got to the castle, he walked in and saw his father talking to a young man. Akuno and the young man looked over at Kousuke, waving him over. Kousuke ran over, bowing.
"My name is Kousuke Homura, nice to meet you," Kousuke said. Kousuke stood up straight looking at the two. The young man smiled,
"My name is Daisuke Adiona... Nice to meet you Kousuke..." Adiona said. Adiona smiled,
"This is my castle, and I am The King... How about I give you a tour of this place..." Adiona said. Daisuke smiled, nodding.
"How old are you Mr. Adiona...?" Kousuke asked, innocently. Adiona smiled,
"Four thousand years old..." Adiona said. Kousuke chuckled,
"I wasn't joking... I'm 14..." Kousuke said. Adiona chuckled, smiling softly.
"Sorry, I'm 21..." Adiona said. Kousuke smiled,
"Wow~... That's young for a king..." Kousuke said. Adiona nodded,
"That's what your father said when we first met... But now we're good business partners..." Adiona said. Kousuke raised a brow,
"Business partners...?" Kousuke asked. Adiona nodded, putting a finger up.
"I have a proposition for you Kousuke..." Adiona said. Kousuke smiled,
"What is it?" Kousuke asked. Adiona smiled,
"I'll tell you once we get to our destination..." Adiona said. Kousuke nodded, as the two entered a dark room.
"We're here..." Adiona said. Kousuke nodded,
"So... What was the proposition...?" Kousuke asked. Adiona smiled,
"Kousuke Homura... Do you..." Adiona said. Kousuke smiled in anticipation,
"... Want to be my guard...?" Adiona asked. Kousuke grinned,
"O-Of course!" I'd love to!" Kousuke said. Adiona smiled,
"That's good... But I want to warn you... You won't be able to see your mom and dad again..." Adiona said. Kousuke's eyes widened.
"What... Why...?" Kousuke asked. Adiona sighed,
"God damn it Akuno... You told me this kid would agree..." Adiona whispered.
"Cause you'll be living with me from now on... and you'll forget all about them..." Adiona said. Kousuke's eyes widened, and he started to shake.
"I... I want to leave..." Kousuke said. Adiona sighed,
"I'm sorry to tell you but I can't let you do that..." Adiona said. Kousuke's eyes widened, running toward where the door was. Adiona sighed, looking at Kousuke, The lights then turned on, revealing hundreds of armored knights. There were hundreds of futuristic torture machines and weapons. Kousuke's eyes widened in shock,
"I'm going to die in here..."
"... Aren't I..." Kousuke internalized.
