Chapter 25: Fatty Lai's Killing Intent Rises
When you're out in the world, who doesn't have a grudge match?
Every person has selfish desires, leading to competition for benefits, and conflicts arise inexplicably.
Even within the same Triad, the same faction, there are plenty of people who don't get along.
For example, the Zhong faction and the Yi faction of the Number Gang are practically on the verge of bloodshed.
Fatty Lai originally thought he was a cultured man, and while his relationship with these roughnecks wasn't intimate, he could at least talk to them.
But as it turned out, all Twelve Hall Masters, except for himself, wanted to spar with him.
Not just the Hall Masters, but even a big shot like Lin Feng wanted to spar with him.
Fatty Lai was shocked and, forgetting his anger at the two from Mong Kok, raised his hands and shouted:
"Everyone, don't hit me in the face!"
Who would hit him in the face? That's too dirty.
Everyone surrounded Fatty Lai and gave him a good kicking. Someone, he didn't know who, kicked him in the groin, and he curled up like a shrimp.
Chan Yiu returned to his seat and slightly turned:
"Mr. Chiang, isn't this a bit improper?"
Chiang Tin-Sung gave him a cold look:
"Uncle Six approved, and the Hall Masters haven't broken any rules. What are you worried about?"
Chan Yiu's heart skipped a beat, and he broke into a sweat.
The Twelve Hall Masters had different personalities and managed different affairs.
Chan Yiu was known as the Tiger of Wan Chai, but he was the White Paper Fan in the Triad, a man of both literary and martial talents. He was Chiang Tin-Sung's chief steward.
He basically managed all of the Chiang family's businesses.
In other words, he was Chiang Tin-Sung's trusted man.
Without Chiang Tin-Sung, the source of his power would be illegitimate.
He had to be of one mind with Chiang Tin-Sung at all times.
Separated from the Chiang family, Chan Yiu was nothing.
Chiang Tin-Sung glanced at Uncle Six, who had a large stack of cash in front of him and was smiling so much his eyes were barely open.
The Ritual Hall was a sacred and distinguished department of the Hung Society, only used for major affairs.
In the imperial courts of feudal times, the Ritual Hall was also like this.
The Hung Society Triad rallied people through righteousness and maintained loyalty through benefits.
"Uncle Six hasn't said anything, and you're here pleading for Fatty Lai?"
"How much did he give you in facilitation fees?"
Chan Yiu sold out Fatty Lai without hesitation:
"Five hundred thousand."
Chiang Tin-Sung snorted coldly:
"What an achievement."
"You are my trusted subordinate, and you're only worth five hundred thousand?"
"In the future, if anyone seeks your help, don't even bother with them unless they offer two million."
Chan Yiu was overjoyed and repeatedly bowed in thanks:
"Thank you, Mr. Chiang."
Chiang Tin-Sung waited another ten minutes before saying:
"This is the Hall of Brotherhood, so you all know when to stop."
The Hall Masters then leisurely returned to their seats.
Lin Feng, with his sharp eyes, noticed that even the good-natured Baji had joined in.
Fatty Lai's face was a complete mess, and he barely managed to sit on his chair, groaning while clutching his groin.
Liang Kun truly couldn't hold back. He said to Chiang Tin-Sung:
"Mr. Chiang, we are all respectable people. Can we make a rule for the future?"
"Those casually dressed fellows shouldn't come to the Hall of Brotherhood to embarrass us."
"If Lord Guan and the Hung Society ancestors in the Hall of Brotherhood saw this, they'd think our Hung Hing is getting worse with each generation."
Liang Kun had no intention of being subtle.
"Look at Fatty Lai. Just now, he was picking his toes and even smelled them. He's a complete pervert."
"Now he's covering his groin, looking exactly like a sex maniac."
"He's a Hall Master of Hung Hing, a well-known boss in the underworld."
"If word gets out, people will think all our Hung Hing Hall Masters are like this!"
Fatty Lai shouted loudly:
"Who hit me like this?"
He wanted to preempt them.
Liang Kun didn't humor him at all.
"I hit you!"
Lin Feng immediately said:
"I hit you."
All the Hall Masters chorused:
"I hit you!" * 10.
Fatty Lai was speechless and dumbfounded.
Liang Kun mocked:
"When you're out in the world, you have to follow rules. If you make a mistake, you admit it. If you get hit, you stand at attention."
"And you call yourself a big boss."
"If you were my subordinate, I'd kill you."
Lin Feng said faintly:
"Mong Kok doesn't want such a subordinate. He doesn't even have the qualifications to enter our Hung Society."
The two of them, in a back-and-forth, thoroughly insulted Fatty Lai.
Chiang Tin-Sung coughed twice:
"Alright, this is the Hall of Brotherhood. Any personal grudges can be settled later."
"But remember the rules."
"If your two factions fight, stop when you've made your point. No fatalities."
Liang Kun and Lin Feng immediately became obedient:
"Yes, Mr. Chiang."
Chiang Tin-Sung was very pleased.
Fatty Lai was filled with resentment:
"You…"
"Fine, my North Point wants to start a big fight with their Mong Kok!"
Liang Kun didn't even bother with that guy.
Lin Feng sat in the chair behind Liang Kun, dozing off.
Hung Hing's meetings were too damn boring.
This wasn't a formal meeting; it was just a routine meeting for the monthly numbers.
Chiang Tin-Sung gave Fatty Lai a deep look:
"You want to start a big fight between two factions, you can."
"I approve."
"However, Hung Hing's rules stand."
"Factions can fight, but no fatalities are allowed."
Lin Feng immediately perked up:
"Mr. Chiang, when does the fight start?"
Fatty Lai gritted his teeth:
"Today!"
"Starting today!"
Lin Feng laughed heartily:
"Alright, starting today."
Chiang Tin-Sung was exasperated and quickly said:
"Ah Feng, you're a big shot in the Triad. Go easy when you beat up Fatty Lai."
Instantly, Fatty Lai felt a surge of anger.
What did that mean?
Lin Feng was indeed a big shot, but he, Fatty Lai, was also the Hall Master of North Point.
So, in your, Chiang Tin-Sung's, eyes, a Hall Master of North Point is inferior to a Triad big shot?
This was too much bullying!
Lin Feng chuckled:
"Mr. Chiang, I am a Straw Sandal. I'm responsible for liaising with other Triads, so I know the rules best."
"I know my limits."
Chiang Tin-Sung shook his head helplessly.
The Hall Masters all teased, telling Lin Feng to hold back a bit.
Prince was the most direct:
"Ah Feng, don't let Xiao Fu make a move. When that guy fights for his life, I'm no match for him."
Everyone was quite surprised.
Hon Ban asked:
"Prince, you are the God of War of Hung Hing. Is there anyone in our Hung Hing whose combat power is higher than yours?"
Prince spoke truthfully:
"If it's a normal spar, we're evenly matched."
"But if it's a fight to the death, I'm no match for him."
Prince said earnestly,
"Li Fu came from the battlefield. Some of his moves aren't suitable for sparring."
The Hall Masters were all in an uproar.
Chiang Tin-Sung asked in surprise:
"Ah Kun, where is Li Fu?"
Liang Kun was very pleased:
"He's outside the Hall of Brotherhood."
Chiang Tin-Sung immediately said:
"Lin Feng is his boss, so he also has the right to listen in the Hall."
"Such a heroic figure shouldn't be left standing outside."
"Invite him in!"
Naturally, a disciple sent a message for Li Fu to enter.
Li Fu entered and paid his respects according to the rules. Chiang Tin-Sung immediately took a liking to him; Li Fu looked honest and trustworthy.
Fatty Lai really couldn't take it anymore, and a wave of malicious anger surged within him—
What a Dragon Head! He's so biased to the extreme. Sooner or later, I'll take you all down!

Chapter 26: Song of Mortals
Hung Hing's regular meetings usually didn't have much to discuss.
There were mainly two items on the agenda.
First was collecting debts.
Second was providing an opportunity for the Twelve Hall Masters and the Dragon Head to bond.
Hung Hing operated under a system of Twelve Hall Masters plus the Dragon Head. The Hall Masters had a great deal of autonomy. Many matters could be decided by the Hall Masters themselves.
For example, the choice of various businesses within their halls, the promotion of key members within their halls, and so on.
In other Triads, such a thing would be absolutely impossible.
Lin Feng became a Straw Sandal because Liang Kun, as the Mong Kok Hall Master, reported to Uncle Six in the Ritual Hall, and only then was he promoted under Uncle Six's witness.
By the way, Uncle Six, as the supervisor of the Ritual Hall, had no power of his own; apart from the Triad's support, he had virtually no extra income.
His only extra income came from the red envelopes given for promotions or fines like today.
After dealing with Fatty Lai, all the Hall Masters looked refreshed and each sent the amount they owed to Chan Yiu.
Chan Yiu called out names one by one:
"Excluding North Point, everyone else's monthly contributions are thirty percent higher than usual this month."
Chiang Tin-Sung nodded with a slight smile.
After all, a Triad needs to make money. If you don't make money, why get involved in the Young and Dangerous lifestyle? Wouldn't it be better to honestly carry bags at the docks?
With no increase in personnel, they still earned an additional thirty percent; this was a great harvest.
Everyone looked at Fatty Lai with strange eyes. He finally couldn't hold back and loudly exclaimed:
"I know what you mean! You just got arcade machines from Liang Kun."
"I wanted them too, but he wouldn't give them to me!"
"There's nothing I can do, what can I do?"
Fatty Lai couldn't stay any longer. He said goodbye to Chiang Tin-Sung, turned, and left.
Chiang Tin-Sung's smile vanished.
Sister Thirteen's eyes darted around, and she chuckled:
"Mr. Chiang, don't be angry. Fatty Lai is a cultured man, you see. He's not like us; he's aloof."
Everyone scoffed coldly.
Lin Feng thought, Sister Thirteen, you're no good person either. You're just badmouthing Fatty Lai, but we like it.
"Sister Mei, you're overpraising Fatty Lai."
"A man who runs a smut magazine is hardly a cultured man."
"My Big Brother, with a heart for public service, opened up the supply of arcade machines to all Hung Hing halls."
"Let's not lie, with just twenty-some arcade machines, you can easily earn a few million every month."
"This is clean money, right?"
"This is only because we are fellow members of the same Triad. If it were another Triad, do you think we would bother with them?"
Ba Bi nodded repeatedly:
"Ah Feng is right."
Poor Ba Bi was on Hong Kong Island, a wealthy area, but with even more rich people. Their connections ran deeper than anyone imagined.
Would you dare to do anything out of line in such a wealthy district?
Absolutely not!
Arcade machines were different. Thirty to forty machines could open a medium-sized arcade. As long as order was maintained, a few million a month was easy.
The police wouldn't even target you.
Ba Bi rarely had such a profitable venture, so he naturally spoke highly of it.
Lin Feng nodded, thanking Ba Bi, then continued:
"We all burned incense to the Hung Society together. Mr. Chiang asked us to supply arcade machines to other halls…"
"Honestly, we've done a very thorough job."
"However, arcade machines are a scarce commodity. It's cash on delivery, and even Mr. Chiang operates this way."
"Mong Kok doing this, isn't wrong, right?"
Everyone nodded in unison.
Liang Kun and Lin Feng had been quite conscientious.
At least when they had a business, they still thought of bringing their fellow members along.
If they did it themselves, who could say anything?
The Twelve Hall Masters each had their own businesses, such as Hon Ban's international smuggling, Sister Thirteen's Portland Street, and Fatty Lai's smut magazines. Each had its own unique characteristics.
Not sharing was their right; sharing was a favor.
To share a profitable business was an immense kindness.
"We were originally going to supply North Point too."
"But this guy actually wanted to freeload."
"Saying he would only pay once he started making money…"
"Everyone, judge for yourselves, is there any logic to that?"
Everyone was in an uproar.
They looked at each other, all feeling incredulous.
Arcade games were a monopolized, highly profitable business. The agency rights were all controlled by the Mong Kok hall. Everyone knew that buying them meant making money.
What was Fatty Lai doing?
This was no longer just a matter of arrogance and taking advantage.
Lin Feng cupped his hands to Chiang Tin-Sung and said:
"Mr. Chiang's transactions with us are all cash, and it's the same for all the brothers and sisters in the halls."
However, Lin Feng would never say that Mong Kok supplied Chiang Tin-Sung at cost plus thirty percent, while everyone else was charged an eighty percent markup.
"Why should Fatty Lai be allowed to buy on credit?"
"Is he even buying on credit?"
"He's slapping Mong Kok in the face."
The Prince grunted:
"That's also slapping us in the face."
Everyone nodded in unison.
Sister Thirteen chuckled:
"Perhaps Fatty Lai thinks he's a cultured man and has some special privileges."
Everyone let out a cold laugh.
A cultured man who's involved in the underworld? He's just a Young and Dangerous member.
They should stay away from Fatty Lai in the future, lest he sell them out.
Lin Feng quietly nudged Liang Kun, who stood up and said:
"This is the Hall of Brotherhood. For such a thing to happen, it is Mong Kok's fault."
"I have a business I'd like to discuss with everyone."
"However, now is not the time for the meeting. Those who wish to listen can stay; those who don't, I won't force."
"But there's one thing: anyone other than a Hall Master should not remain here."
Upon hearing this, how could anyone leave?
They absolutely couldn't!
Liang Kun had a reputation for being friendly and not eating alone.
Could the business he spoke of be small?
Not a single person left.
Chiang Tin-Sung smiled slightly. Liang Kun had already reported what he was going to say, which made him very pleased.
When you're in the underworld, making money comes first.
To get rich, you must establish your integrity.
Otherwise, what's the point of having so much money if you're constantly being watched by the police and hunted by enemies?
Chiang Tin-Sung had previously been worried about Liang Kun getting involved in drug dealing, so he had instructed Ah Kun to handle it.
He hadn't expected Liang Kun to be so sensible. The day after Ba Bi died, he came to report his thoughts and feelings.
As long as Liang Kun didn't touch drugs, he was still a good brother.
If push came to shove, once he went legitimate, he could even hand Hung Hing over to him.
To Chiang Tin-Sung, Hung Hing was ultimately his Chiang family's property. He could give it to whomever he pleased.
But trying to seize it himself, that wouldn't do.
As the non-essential personnel retreated, Liang Kun stood up and said:
"Mong Kok's earnings have been decent these past few years, but most of it is black money, and it's very difficult to launder it."
"Those money-laundering organizations are even greedier than bank robbers, daring to demand forty percent from us, some even up to fifty percent."
"We're just making them rich for nothing."
Ba Bi's heart trembled:
"Ah Kun, you have a way to launder money?"
Everyone's eyes lit up, as if filled with dollar signs.
Liang Kun laughed heartily:
"My Ah Feng has indeed come up with a solution. Listen to what I have to say…"

Chapter 27: Prelude to the Hall Battle
Dai Fei and Greyhound reluctantly emerged from the Hall of Brotherhood.
They looked at each other.
Greyhound asked,
"A Hall Battle, should we participate?"
Dai Fei vigorously picked his nose and flicked it aside:
"I don't want to participate, but can we really avoid it?"
Greyhound was silent for a while, then showed a bitter smile.
Both of them were top figures from North Point.
There were actually many such top figures in various Hung Hing Halls.
Before Chiang Tin-Sung implemented the Twelve Councilors system, these top figures from various Halls basically operated from the main headquarters.
They would only be dispatched to specific mission Halls when there was a task.
Whether Red Pole, White Paper Fan, or Straw Sandal, all were known as the 'Three Degrees' in the Hung Society and were qualified to serve as a Hall Master.
However, Red Poles charged at the front, so relatively more of them served as Hall Masters.
Liang Kun of Mong Kok was a Straw Sandal, and Chan Yiu of Wan Chai was a White Paper Fan.
After Chiang Tin-Sung reorganized Hung Hing's policies, each Hall Master was equivalent to a Councilor in a specific region, greatly increasing their autonomy, and the top figures of those Halls were placed under them.
Chiang Tin-Sung clarified the responsibilities, so the headquarters didn't care if the top figures were at the headquarters or not.
The reason they had previously gathered all the top figures at the headquarters was to avoid conflicting orders, unclear responsibilities, and easy disputes.
Dai Fei glanced at the Hall of Brotherhood:
"Liang Kun is generous with money, and he has a good reputation."
"I bet he's definitely introducing ways for the big brothers to get rich."
"Too bad you and I aren't big brothers."
Greyhound said bitterly:
"Not to mention them, even I want to beat up Fatty Lai."
Dai Fei hesitated for a moment, then said:
"Lin Feng is not someone to be trifled with."
"We all know he has extensive connections, and he might just borrow troops."
Greyhound's mind was still a bit slow, not realizing the seriousness of the matter:
"Borrow troops?"
"We have rules; if two Halls are fighting, a third Hall cannot interfere."
Dai Fei rolled his eyes, feeling his nose itch again.
Fatty Lai liking to pick his toes in public was his personal preference.
Dai Fei picking his nose was out of necessity; he got his nose injured when he started out, and it left him with a chronic problem.
"Are you stupid?"
"Does he have to borrow troops from us?"
"Can't he borrow troops from other Triads?"
Greyhound was stunned.
"Borrow troops from other Triads?"
"This..."
He finally showed some intelligence for once,
"I'll restrain my subordinates; they absolutely won't come out for three days."
Dai Fei nodded:
"Why should we bear the consequences of what Fatty Lai caused?"
Both of them harbored ambitions to become Hall Masters, but there was only one position available.
With Fatty Lai at the top in North Point, they couldn't advance.
Both of them wished Liang Kun would beat up Fatty Lai and his group.
They exchanged a smile, and Dai Fei sighed again:
"I wish I was inside."
Greyhound said:
"I really want to hear what idea Liang Kun came up with."
Seeing other Halls making a fortune from arcades, both of them were incredibly envious.
However, they couldn't do anything; who the heck made them end up with such a Hall Master?
Their resentment was irrepressible.
The Hall Masters emerged, looking satisfied.
Prince put his arm around Liang Kun's shoulder and said:
"Ah Kun, you know I'm clueless about business; I just want to practice martial arts."
"You'll have to put in a lot of effort for the construction of this cinema. Whatever money you need, I'll provide; whatever people you need, I'll provide."
Sister Thirteen also said:
"Liang Kun, I only have sisters here. I'll need your help to build the cinema."
It should be noted that there wasn't much resentment between Sister Thirteen and Liang Kun here.
Because of Lin Feng's presence, he even warned them when Chui Shui Da had an accident, but everyone has their own fate, and Chui Shui Da ultimately didn't make it through.
Liang Kun smiled:
"We three Halls of Yau Tsim Mong should look out for each other."
A hint of ruthlessness flashed in Prince's eyes:
"Ah Kun, do you want me to send troops from my side?"
Liang Kun was immediately tempted.
Lin Feng laughed:
"Prince, Hung Hing's rules are clear here. If our Mong Kok fights his North Point, no third Hall can participate."
"Besides, Hung Hing is also facing pressure from Tung Sing now... It's just North Point. If we can't handle it, we definitely won't be too proud to ask for help."
Prince thought he was right and pointed at Li Fu:
"If you just send Xiao Fu, no one in Mong Kok can stop him."
Hon Ban asked curiously:
"Is Xiao Fu's skill that formidable?"
Prince praised him:
"He's Red Pole level."
Hon Ban gave him a deep look and remembered it from then on.
Lin Feng smiled:
"Gentlemen, I originally wanted to invite you all for a good meal at Arrogance Restaurant, but we still need to teach Fatty Lai a lesson. When he hosts a banquet to apologize later, we'll gather properly then!"
Everyone nodded repeatedly.
Liang Kun said goodbye to everyone, then got into the car with Lin Feng and Li Fu.
Everyone then departed.
Hon Ban and Sister Thirteen were in the same car.
"Between Mong Kok and North Point, these two districts fighting, who do you think will win?"
Sister Thirteen said without hesitation:
"Mong Kok."
Hon Ban asked curiously:
"That confident?"
Sister Thirteen explained:
"Our three districts of Yau Tsim Mong are connected."
"We watch out for each other if anything happens."
"Since Lin Feng started getting involved, Tung Sing hasn't gained any advantage."
"Triad fights are about money and troops."
"Essentially, it's about money."
"Both Liang Kun and Lin Feng are wealthy individuals."
"Fatty Lai is just someone who sells lewd magazines, pretending to be refined, but he's nothing!"
"He's definitely no match for the two of them."
Hon Ban was thoughtful.
Sister Thirteen smiled:
"I don't think it'll be a week before Fatty Lai has to host a peace banquet and ask someone to mediate."
Hon Ban smiled,
"I don't think it'll even take a week."
Sister Thirteen was surprised:
"You think that highly of Liang Kun?"
Hon Ban shook his head:
"No, I think highly of Lin Feng."
Sister Thirteen was puzzled:
"Lin Feng?"
Hon Ban explained in detail:
"Your attention is all on Liang Kun."
"He is indeed a talent, not only ruthless but also very skilled in economic matters."
"However, I'm focused on Lin Feng."
"Lin Feng is a Young and Dangerous member, that's true, but he's exceptionally free-spirited."
"Other Young and Dangerous members fight for status; Lin Feng is different. His changes are truly remarkable."
"I still remember two years ago he swore constantly; now on the street, he doesn't look like a Young and Dangerous member at all."
"Lin Feng also has a legitimate investment company that has invested in many promising high-tech companies."
"That arcade production factory was built by him investing in Okamoto."
"And VCDs..."
"You should make sure to get along with him when you have the chance. I think this guy has a lot going on in his head."
"If I'm not mistaken, from today onwards, Fatty Lai is going to have a hard time."
Sister Thirteen was greatly surprised:
"You think that highly of him?"
Hon Ban smiled:
"Fatty Lai is just a Young and Dangerous member pretending to be a scholar, while Lin Feng is an elite businessman pretending to be a Young and Dangerous member. The two are incomparable!"

Chapter 28: Triad Hall Battle, Ghost of Misfortune Appears
Mong Kok Hall.
Liang Kun asked Lin Feng:
"Mr. Chiang has allowed us to go to war with North Point. What's your plan?"
Lin Feng said lazily:
"It's a shame it's not a war with other Triads. Hung Hing's internal strife isn't very interesting."
Liang Kun rolled his eyes at Lin Feng:
"We're brothers for life; don't I know what's on your mind?"
"You've wanted to beat up Fatty Lai for a long time, haven't you?"
Lin Feng laughed heartily:
"You really do understand me, Boss."
"It's just North Point; it'll be easy to deal with."
Liang Kun, no longer in his usual frenzied state, reminded him:
"Ah Feng, be careful not to stumble in a ditch."
Lin Feng smiled:
"I wouldn't make such a mistake."
"Fatty Lai wants to fight us, doesn't he?"
"Then let's give him what he wants."
"If he doesn't host a banquet and apologize within three days, then I'll admit he's formidable."
Liang Kun was startled:
"Three days?"
"Isn't that too short?"
Lin Feng shook his head slightly:
"Three days is enough."
Liang Kun became interested:
"You're always full of clever ideas. The brothers in the hall are at your disposal, as long as we can thoroughly humiliate Fatty Lai."
Lin Feng said disdainfully:
"Dealing with just one Fatty Lai doesn't even require using our own men."
Liang Kun was surprised:
"Fatty Lai is indeed easy to deal with, but how can we deal with him without using our men?"
Lin Feng said seriously:
"Fatty Lai is just a bug."
"Our hall has serious business; we won't waste time on him."
"Brother Kun, you should interact more with the other Hall Masters."
"Build the cinema sooner, and launder the money sooner."
"Now, gold is everywhere; all that's missing is startup capital."
"As long as the capital keeps up, how much money we make is entirely up to you and me."
Liang Kun was very tempted but still a bit uneasy:
"Then tell me, how do we deal with Fatty Lai?"
Lin Feng smiled slightly and held up a finger:
"To deal with a Triad, there are three legitimate approaches."
"The first is to eliminate their trusted subordinates, but we don't need to consider that."
"The capable ones in North Point are Greyhound and Dai Fei, but when we beat up Fatty Lai just now, these two just watched, not offering any help at all."
Liang Kun nodded:
"Greyhound is one thing, but Dai Fei is a talent."
"They really won't help."
Lin Feng held up a second finger:
"The second point is to cut off their financial resources."
"War is fought with money."
"If we want to force Fatty Lai to submit quickly, we need to hit him hard all at once."
"Where are Fatty Lai's financial powers concentrated?"
Liang Kun said without hesitation:
"Pornographic magazines!"
Lin Feng smiled:
"That's right, his pornographic magazines."
"To be fair, Fatty Lai's character isn't great, but he's good at running pornographic magazines."
"His pornographic magazines have a very high market share in Hong Kong."
Liang Kun became even more eager to ask:
"How do we do it?"
Lin Feng shrugged:
"Just make sure he can't sell a single magazine."
Liang Kun frowned:
"That's impossible. There are so many perverts in Hong Kong. It's such a big market; individually warning them won't have much effect."
Lin Feng rolled his eyes:
"You're confused, Brother Kun."
"Why target the consumers? We just need to target the producers."
"Fatty Lai's magazine printing factory and distribution company are right there in plain sight. If we just prevent their magazines from leaving the premises, wouldn't that work?"
Liang Kun suddenly understood:
"You're really cunning."
"Pornographic magazines are his lifeblood. However, he's not the only one making pornographic magazines in Hong Kong. If his magazines aren't supplied in time, those perverts will find alternatives."
"If his market is taken over by others, that would be worse than killing him."
Lin Feng laughed heartily:
"Exactly."
"Hit the snake where it hurts."
Liang Kun asked curiously:
"What's the third point?"
Lin Feng held up a third finger:
"The third point is much simpler."
"Manpower!"
"Although Dai Fei and Greyhound from North Point won't participate, Fatty Lai's main contingent still has some men."
"The rest is about targeting his manpower."
"Even though Hung Hing has rules against taking lives,"
"Then don't cause any deaths."
Liang Kun pondered for a moment, then shook his head:
"If we don't cause deaths, we won't be able to intimidate them."
Lin Feng rolled his eyes:
"Brother Kun, that's too much."
"They're all brothers of Hung Hing. If someone dies, it'll be hard to explain to Chiang Tin-Sung, and the various Hall Masters won't be able to save face."
"Ultimately, this is an internal Triad Hall battle, not a clash with other Triads."
Seeing Lin Feng's explanation, Liang Kun said:
"Do you have an idea?"
Lin Feng chuckled:
"Of course."
"So, we need to borrow troops."
"It's better to have people from other Triads help us."
"The Triad rules state that no lives should be lost in internal hall conflicts, but the Triad doesn't say we can't cause serious injuries."
"As long as Fatty Lai dares to send people, whoever comes, we'll make sure he ends up in the hospital."
"We're good brothers in the Triad, so we should proactively call ambulances and such, lest our fellow members say we lack loyalty."
Liang Kun was stunned, then suddenly realized:
"You're really cunning."
"Is this your kindness?"
"You're bleeding Fatty Lai's wallet dry!"
"The treatment costs for the injured and everything else require clean money. Although this guy has made a lot from pornographic magazines, he won't be able to handle this kind of torment!"
Lin Feng sneered:
"Why do you think Fatty Lai looks down on the other Hall Masters?"
Liang Kun asked, puzzled:
"Why?"
Lin Feng said directly:
"He can directly earn clean money."
"He doesn't need money laundering tools; he has his own."
Liang Kun suddenly reacted:
"Pornographic magazines are also a form of money laundering?"
Lin Feng shrugged:
"Any legitimate business can launder money, as long as you pay taxes."
"Of course, the scale can't be too outrageous."
"This is a capitalist society; as long as you pay taxes, anything goes."
Liang Kun suddenly became jealous of Fatty Lai and said fiercely:
"Ah Feng, I'm leaving this to you. Go get him!"
Lin Feng clapped his hands:
"So, how much money are you prepared to spend on this fight?"
Liang Kun thought for a moment and said:
"Is two million enough?"
Lin Feng gave a thumbs up:
"Wo Luen Shing only spent two million to elect a Dragon Head, and you're spending two million on a single fight? Impressive!"
Liang Kun rolled his eyes at Lin Feng,
"They aren't as lucky as me. I have a good brother like you who brings me along on profitable ventures."
"Two million is nothing!"
Lin Feng laughed heartily:
"Alright, since the Boss has made his statement, I'll add two million. We'll use four million to teach Fatty Lai a lesson."
"Don't worry, this money will ultimately come from Fatty Lai."
"Xiao Fu, go find someone in Tsim Sha Tsui!"
