waking up in the underground next to Frisk wasn't either.
now imagine his surprise when everyone in the underground suddenly has 'skills'.
all monsters are much more powerful, the journey to the barrier will be much tougher now.

James never read Tensura,
but eventually when the barrier is destroyed... he will see it, personally.
