Erend opened his jaws once more then a pillar of black lightning erupted from his mouth with a deafening roar, consuming the distance between them in an instant before crashing directly into Nyssara's broken body.
BOOM!
The impact engulfed the cosmic being completely.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!" Nyssara's scream tore across the dead world. The cry shook the air and violent ripples spread through the sky and earth.
It was no longer the scream of an arrogant cosmic being, but the desperate cry of someone experiencing unbearable agony. Every trace of pride vanished beneath the overwhelming pain as the black lightning devoured what remained of her mortal vessel.
Cracks rapidly spread across her giant body.
