Rosina sat on her bed, caressing the silk in her palm. "It's soft," she muttered and smiled. She had been so occupied for weeks that she had forgotten what it truly felt like to relax.
Rosina closed her eyes and thought back to her younger days, when she would do whatever she had liked. Now, due to her duties, she felt trapped.
"Can I have peace at this point?" Rosina stated and sighed deeply. Then her ears twitched upon hearing a familiar sound entering her room.
"Rosina, my love?" Draco's soft voice echoed in the quiet room.
Rosina looked back and saw Draco's messy hair; he was wearing a black robe. "My husband, why are you awake this late at night?" She asked, standing up.
"I can't sleep," Draco replied, standing before Rosina and caressing her cheeks. "And I missed you."
"Really?" Rosina raised a brow, chuckling.
When Draco had become mentally unstable because of the search for his mother. They decided to sleep in separate bedrooms to give each other some space to think.
