Footsteps up stone bricks were the only accompanying sound. The metal that glistened from each passing of a sconce, flowed and moved with her body's motions even in its solid state.
Taking a closer look at the figure guiding her up, she noticed that her hair ends were tipped with platinum, similar to coins of the same variety.
A tattoo of a winged serpent began to emerge on the back of the cultist's neck. It appeared like a flowing river, and the serpent moved on its own volition.
The animated sea serpent splashed in and out of the water once, before the tattoo went back to being stagnant—but visible. Around the spiral of the stairwell, the cultist reached a hand for the door, of which Jotou could only see a portion of from behind her.
'The tattoos can move?'
As the knob twisted, there was a sudden burst of sound down the stairwell. Boos and cheers rang down every brick, while Jotou was led into the door and tunnel.
