Fujiwara Household,
An elderly man, around eight hundred and nineteen years old, sat quietly on a wooden chair in the garden of his estate. The night was peaceful, and the cool moonlight illuminated the surrounding plants and trees. However, the old man paid little attention to anything around him. His gaze remained fixed on the moon hanging high above the sky as he silently waited for someone.
He remained there for quite some time before hurried footsteps finally broke the silence of the garden. Two figures quickly approached from behind him. They were his children, and judging from how hastily they had arrived, it was obvious that they had rushed here as soon as they were able to free themselves from their responsibilities.
"Father!"
The elderly man did not turn around after hearing their voices. His eyes remained calmly fixed on the moon as he acknowledged their arrival. "You two have come."
"Yes. We apologize for making you wait."
