After arriving at the Sheldon Family, Charlotte Allison was sent to her room to rest by Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon, saying they'd call her when dinner was ready.
Lucas Quinn didn't get such good treatment. He was called by Mr. Sheldon to play chess, without any regard for whether he'd been on a plane for over ten hours like Charlotte, or if he was tired.
After dinner, while chatting with the two elders at the Sheldon Family, Charlotte mentioned that Mr. Ross would come to Kingstown in a few days to discuss her marriage with Lucas.
"Charlotte, no rush, this guy's reputation isn't great right now. Wait till he sorts out the Quinn Family's rumors before talking about your marriage." Mr. Sheldon said.
Once Charlotte's marriage is decided, Lucas's identity will be made public, and she'll have to bear the rumors about Mr. Quinn with him.
Mr. Sheldon doesn't want to wrong his granddaughter.
