By this point, Gu Fei understood everything. She had been set up.
For some reason, that Miss Shen had taken a disliking to her and wanted to play a prank—or maybe she had something else in mind.
The next moment, Gu Fei realized she had been far too naive.
A foul, bestial stench wafted from behind her. Gu Fei dodged to the side on pure instinct. When she turned to look, a striped, ferocious tiger with a white-marked forehead and golden eyes had appeared silently before her.
Its emotionless eyes stared coldly at Gu Fei.
'Holy shit!'
'Miss Shen is ruthless. She went straight for the kill.'
Gu Fei locked eyes with the tiger for a second. Just as the beast lunged, pushing off its hind legs, Gu Fei abruptly vanished from right under its nose.
'Sorry, but I happen to know Instant Teleportation.'
Standing outside, Gu Fei looked up at the high courtyard walls. 'No wonder they're so much taller than usual. They're keeping a tiger inside.'
