Edward Sullivan and Edward Shaw initially planned to go to the parking lot to greet these high-profile guests.
But strangely, after these guests got out of their cars, they didn't immediately enter the hotel.
Instead, they gathered together, apparently discussing something.
Edward Shaw and Edward Sullivan wanted to approach them but were stopped by the guests' bodyguards.
The two dared not get closer and could only watch eagerly from the side.
Another ten minutes or so passed, and once enough top guests from Huston had gathered—over thirty of them—they began walking towards the hotel.
Edward Sullivan and Edward Shaw finally had the chance to speak.
Edward Shaw approached Mr. Cole and said with a flattering tone, "Thank you, Mr. Cole, for gracing my son's engagement ceremony with your presence!"
Mr. Cole was evidently surprised, "Your son's engagement?"
Edward Shaw was also taken aback, "Didn't you know?"
