Edward Rowe was "complaining."
Then he heard Ms. Talbot's voice from outside: "So noisy! So annoying! Security, hurry up and get this rascal out of here! Don't disturb us!"
A few more people came outside the storage room.
Besides Charlotte Talbot and her mother, there were also two security guards from the residential property.
They wore uniforms and held electric batons.
Ms. Talbot pointed at Edward: "This is the rascal! He's been freeloading at our house for days and won't leave!"
Edward saw Ms. Talbot and put on a fawning look: "Mom! You're here!"
Without a word, Ms. Talbot went up and slapped Edward hard on both cheeks: "Shut up! Who's your mom? How dare you!"
When Edward was beaten by his own father, he grimaced as if he had been deeply insulted.
He was furious like a lion.
From his posture, it seemed as if he wanted to kill his father!
But now, being slapped by Ms. Talbot, he was as tame as a kitten.
