Clara Melford was slightly taken aback, then seemed to understand something.
She generally guessed the identity of this man.
It was indeed true that what needed to be said was inconvenient for her to hear.
So she sensibly decided to leave.
"Call the next patient in; I am your superior," Sarah Sullivan's cool voice sounded.
The middle-aged man's smile was a bit awkward, "Dr. Sullivan, shall we talk about the business first? This matter is quite important."
"Nothing is more important than seeing patients."
"It won't take more than a few minutes."
"A patient's time can't be delayed for even a minute."
The two of them exchanged questions and answers, and the middle-aged man felt quite uncomfortable being countered by Sullivan.
But he was of good temper as well.
So he said, "Alright... alright... I will wait..."
He just took his briefcase and continued to sit inside the consulting room.
"Please wait outside."
"It's alright; it doesn't affect me."
