The Mindwebber was truly furious at the Emperor of Water. At the very inception of the battle, she had been caught off-guard by a hyperdimensional jab, which Rui used to inject her with the Tide of Samsara.
Even if she didn't specialize in the web of the body, it should have been easy to crush the Tide of Samsara when it wasn't being actively supported by the Emperor's Martialverse. And yet, because of its hyperdimensional nature, not only was she not able to crush it in a short amount of time, but she couldn't even permanently exorcise it from her body.
Every time she had attacked the Tide of Samsara or had managed to corner it, it would jump into higher dimensions. When she tried to use her Webverse to seal off the higher dimensions, she realized that her body alone couldn't deal with the poison without the Verse actively supporting her.
