To say that Divine Mother oooo—— was angry was an understatement. She was aware of the dwarven Transcendent, but she didn't care about a newborn baby Administrator in a civilization that didn't even have a Legislative heritage, meaning it would have taken the dwarven Administrator more time than he had to truly become a threat. And yet, a living artifact of his creation managed to wound a Divine Mother.
And then there was the other Administrator. One who was entirely a Legislator. He had a glowing silvery body, one that was made entirely of solid light, save for his brain, which was entirely made of crystalline lattice.
They created an opening that allowed the Emperor of Water to escape what she was certain would have been his end. With the five of them ganging up on him, they would have undoubtedly succeeded in extracting the secret from his memories and killing him thereafter.
That smooth, ideal victory had been disrupted.
