Despite hiding inside its turtle shell, the Sage still suffered from the impact. While its exterior defense cannot be shattered in a short period of time, the impact was still strong enough to penetrate its flesh.
As such, the Sage was definitely not having a good time. It knew that if it were to continue hiding in the shell without doing anything, it would only be a matter of time before it would he defeated.
As such, the Sage decided to counterattack. It mobilized its own mana, and its entire body was immediately covered with a crimson energy.
The unmoving shell suddenly started to rotate fast. The friction it caused further damaged and shattered the fabric of space.
If not for the Guardian's lightning protecting himself, the spatial fragments would have harmed him already.
With the ridiculously fast spinning of the turtle shell, the Guardian was forced to create distance between them. If not, his protective energy might be broken through.
