As the beast staggered in the floor, the weapon, wrapped in spiraling blue spiritual energy, punched straight through a cockatrice's wing joint, tearing through flesh and bone.
The cockatrice let out a sharp cry and nearly lost its balance from the sudden wound.
Elayne's barriers proved to be a great way to hold onto a lot of monsters alive while baiting them into attacking angrily, as they were drawn to her spiritual energy rich in essence they wanted to feed on.
The plants and roots kept several other beasts locked in place while the fight continued.
"Oho! Not bad! Well done!" Elayne clapped as she watched the boy. "Now- Oh?"
However, as Kai battled the giant cockatrice, she noticed some of his companions rapidly beginning to wake up one after another. "You guys are finally awake!"
The young Blue Ghostly Goblins all groaned in annoyed pain, but Elayne's healing and terrain buffs helped them get on their feet fairly quickly.
