Elayne distributed a few Blood Fruits among the brave few who wanted to change who they were. Still, the vast majority did not seem eager to turn into Treants or Dryads. Many remained skeptical and chose to stay behind, watching from a safe distance with mixed expressions of curiosity and caution.
The ones who stepped forward were four skeletons and two zombies. The results were almost instant. The moment they bit into the fruits, living wood began to grow from their chests and rapidly spread across their bodies in thick, pulsing vines.
Under Elayne's careful order, the parasitic energy fused with the host rather than devouring them from the inside out. This was how people could safely turn into either Blood Treants or Blood Dryads.
It was… similar to how Vampires turned others, granting them a secondary race along with new power. The process was amazingly smooth under her control.
