Orion P.O.V
I looked at the miserable state this young girl was in, after looking at her face a big headche made me groan out in pain and flash of what seems memories of a red haired woman, long red hair, beautiful green eyes and she was kinda tall taller then me i think, she was smiling to a blond haired kid.
"you should just speak to her you know that she won't hate you right...M-"
"HEY!"
Startled awake from the memory i look at the origin of the shout irritated.
"You were looking at me in silence are you alright?...ugh..."She asked softly and she seems worried?.
'she's not the one supposed to be worried looking at the state she is in...she seems like a nice person' i thought to my self with a little smile behind my mask.
"sorry just a little preoccupied" I said to her "it seems you are touched by the rot critically".
"You think so?" she remarked sarcastically with a little giggle.
'stupid remark... typical me huh?...'
it seems i still have some pieces of memories or habits that i had before losing my memory.
"sorry just didn't know how to begin talking with you i guess"I said not embarassed at all.
"yeah I'm used to it, a lot of people don't know how to talk to a rotting half corps..."she said in a self depricating manner.
"Wait i think i have something that can help you..." rememring that the man said he didn't want to tell her that it was him that sent me, I wasn't going to say anything about him.
I got the needle out and gave it to her.
"you think this could stop the rot?"she asked looking at me skeptically.
"Yes, try it, what would you lose anyway, it's eitheir it doesn't work and worst case scenario you die..." i stopped and looked at her "...well in your case it's the best case scenario if it doesn't work..." I said bluntly and continued "or don't try and continue living in this miserable state for the rest of your life"
"You don't ...ugh... mince your words do you?" She said smiling bitterly at her situation.
"well it's the truth, so yes or no?" I offered extending the needle in my hand to her.
She take it saying "alright i will... turn around for a moment please"
I looked at her weirdly 'she's gonna stick a needle in her arm, not posing nude...'.
I turned around nonetheless, giving her privacy.
"I finished and the pain seems to be wearing off... I hope it continue to work..." she said sadly "I'm sorry that i doubt you it's just that I always lived with this pain, believing that i will die with it, and then a stranger comes to me offring a needle saying it will help so pardon my scepticism".
"I understand." Nod at her with barely visible smile.
"You seem like a kind person" she smiled at me more easly as the pain wears off "despite your blunt and direct words".
"thank you... i guess?"
she giggled and said " don't know how to take compliments do you"
I released a chuckle at that "yeah, not used to them"
"You can go, I'm sure you have your own problems, and the pain is wearing off so i can probably walk in about 5 minute or so..." she said standing up using the wall to help herself.
"here..." I tossed a sword in good condition that i found in one of the corpses making my way up here "...to protect yourself"
she caught it with her left hand "thank you luckily i can use swords with my left hand..." she said looking at her missing arm.
"if I meet you again by any chance i will gift you with something" I said with a smile.
"a gift? why? we just met and you are going to give me a gift?" she asked surprised.
"I just want to do something good so why not" I replied.
"and what will it be?"
"I don't want t spoil it so i won't say....well then I have to get going" I said looking at the sky.
"Wait! Millicent... my name is Millicent" she said.
"and the name's Orion" I said with a smile that reach my eyes "till we meet again"
She smiled at me before I turned around and began going to the direction of the dragon I heared when I woke up.
