Chapter 103 - An era long forgotten.

Beneath the ocean that separated the kingdom of Lucian and Malaysia. The seas stirred roughly as huge waves rose and fell rhythmically. Along with occasional roars of sea beasts.

Deep beneath the surface of the ocean, four flashes of light could be seen moving at an impossible speed as they made their way towards the temple beneath the surface.

Alioth, who had comprehended the universal law of space to its limits, could naturally freely manipulate the space and dimension around him and appear anywhere in the universe.

However, the forgotten ruins were the only exception. The space around the temple was completely sealed and distorted, making it impossible for him to use his universal law to appear inside the temple at will.

This was done so that no one could freely access the forgotten ruins. It was a precaution to prevent anyone from freeing the treasures that were locked inside.

Within mere seconds, the god of space, the goddess of life, the goddess of light and the sun goddess arrived at the entrance of the temple. Alioth furrowed his brow as he sensed lingering traces of energies in the air.

"As expected, someone really did enter the ruins." He said as he heaved a sigh. Although Isis's mood was still not in optimal condition, she also furrowed her brow in concern.

"... Strange these energies. Whoever came here was a demigod, while the other is..." The goddess of light, Theia, mumbled beneath her breath. One of those energies felt familiar to her.

"It's someone from one of the four great clans, the clan of Steller white," Isis commented. The clan of Steller white all specialised in the concept of purification. Even though they couldn't truly use the universal law of light, their divinity had similar characteristics, as the energy they used was known to be quite pure in nature.

Within the higher world, they were the ones who kept the negative energies in check. However, during the war of God's they were believed to be wiped out, leaving only the remaining three.

A dimension filled with corrupt energy that existed on the other side of the upper world.

The one who currently deals with the corrupt energy is Alioth, the god of space.

With his manipulation of space, he had already sealed off the space between the abyss and the upper world.

"For one of them to suddenly appear, and in this world no less... I can't help but wonder what their goal is." Sunna muttered to herself. Her deep crimson eyes stared deeply into the ruins as she tried to perceive its depths.

She felt something was off, the clan that was said to be destroyed all those years ago suddenly appeared and, in this world, no less...

'Were they in hiding all these times?' She wondered

"We will find out once we enter." Isis's voice resounded. She ignored the muttering of those present and went inside the ruins, and from behind Alioth followed one step behind.

Theia said nothing and decided to follow behind Alioth. After taking a deep breath, Sunna also entered the ruins. As they continued to traverse through the long passageway of the dimly lit ruins, the sun goddess, Sunna, observed the carving on the surface of the walls.

There was an old drawing there that seemed to speak of a time long forgotten. The carvings on the surface of the walls showed destruction, structures of cities and buildings could be seen collapsing as a raging inferno engulfed the surroundings.

The carving also showed various gods who were brave enough to stand against the unknown young man who had suddenly appeared.

It was a battle that changed the universe. And had left nothing but wreckage, ruins and death in its wake. By far, it was the most horrendous event to occur since the beginning of creation, as many gods and goddesses died, losing their souls never to be reborn again.

However, after that incident, the universe had regained its calm, and even though it was yet to truly recover from the destruction of that time, it wouldn't be long until it regained its stability.

Unfortunately, the recent events of the god of death had once again weakened the universe, as the "Reincarnation cycle" that maintains balance was disturbed. Interrupting the order of "creation" and "destruction", which had even greater irreversible effects when compared to the war of God's.

The era was so ancient that even a high-ranked goddess like Sunna did not know of it. While she was a high-ranked goddess. Back during the time of the war of God, she never existed yet.

In fact, all she knew about the four great clans and the entire upper worlds was what she had read in old historical books within the divine island. As a goddess who could live on eternally, to pass the time, she would always lock herself up inside her room, reading books about past aeons.

Sunna herself only came into existence when the sun of the lower world was created. Making her a lot younger than most of the other gods and goddesses.

In the drawing carved onto the walls. There was the carving of a young man.

The young man looked handsome and quite youthful; in his hand, he carried a long three-meter spear that was golden in colour.

However, the most notable feature of the young man, aside from his long black hair that reaches his waist, was his blood red eyes that resemble those of a real demon.

Just the mere sight of looking in them would make anyone feel dread and madness from the depths of their soul.

Sunna shuddered slightly as she turned her face away from the painting. Even to this day, no one knows where the young man came from.

As the war was reaching its climax, a spatial rift suddenly opened up, and he came out of it along with two hellhounds that could control sacred flames.

"It's best not to look at it," Theia muttered gently as she walked through the corridors, seemingly unbothered by the various paintings.

Her light blue pupils shone with indifference as she kept her eyes directly in front of her, not minding the carving.

Alioth ignored everything around him as his eyes pierced through the space to find the ones who were ahead of them. However, no matter where he searched, he couldn't find them anywhere.

Similarly, Isis was also using her divine senses to find their traces, but she just like Alioth, she couldn't find anything. "It seems they are much deeper than I thought." Alioth's face darkened as he commented. "It should be fine, I doubt they could easily bypass the six-magic seal formation," Isis said, her melodious voice filled with confidence.

Even Isis wasn't confident she could get past the six-magic seal formation after all. Its suppression wasn't something just anyone could resist. As the goddess of magic had used up her entire blood essence to create it, the formation even carried lingering traces of her will.

Isis was indeed very strong as the goddess of life, but she still wasn't anywhere capable of going against the suppression of the six-magic seal formation.

And that's even if she sacrifices some of her vitality by using her own blood essence. Although for a goddess like Isis who embodies the universal law of life, even if she used half of her blood essence, she would still be perfectly fine since her universal law of life would always heal her.

...

As they continued moving forward, a little further down below a long-narrowed passageway, Arous and the silver-haired youth stood in silence. Arous frowned as he thought of various methods of getting through the six-magic seal formation.

However, after a moment of silence, Arous heaved a sigh in resignation.

"Perhaps we should retreat for the time being. As of now, the six-magic seal formation is too strong for us to get through. As long as the suppression is strong, we won't be able to get through." He said with some bitterness in his voice.

He could sense that the ruins would soon resurface in the not-so-distant future. At that time, the suppression should be much weaker. But what he was worried about was the other gods getting involved. With his current strength, he was no match for a God or a goddess.

"... Sigh. That princess is going to be really upset, isn't she?" The silver-haired youth said, his brow furrowed into a frown. "It can't be helped; her highness's comprehension is already at 30%. With those items, her comprehension should increase much faster, but... With the six-magic seal formation, we can't obtain those items; there is nothing we can do." Arous explained with a troubled expression on his face.

"Y-Yeah. Right, but I am going to leave explaining the situation to you." The silver-haired youth said, turning his face away awkwardly as though he was avoiding Arous gaze. The princess is known to be beautiful and elegant. Can be very cruel and resentful.

She also believed the destruction of her clan was something orchestrated by the other three great clans.

After her clan was wiped out along with her family, she started to bear a grudge against the other gods, who did nothing to help them in their predicament. Her hatred toward the god of death, Hendrix, in particular, was quite strong after what he did to her in the past.

Arous turned and was about to leave when his eyes suddenly widened as he felt four powerful energies approaching him. "Th-Those guys." His hand clenched into a fist as sweat trickled down his brow.

"... What's wrong?" The silver-haired youth asked, confused. However, his face suddenly paled as he felt a powerful pressure surrounding his body, forcing him down. "D-Don't tell me, is it the six-magic seal formation?!" He exclaimed.

"N-No... Those guys are here. They arrived much sooner than I estimated." Arous quickly took out a gemstone which was imbued with the space elements.

However, as he broke the gem, the space around him grew unstable and chaotic as though its activation was denied.

"After going through so much effort to come here, why are you leaving so soon?" A calm voice resounded through the hallway, followed by four powerful presences.
