The serpent was far too shocked to voice a rebuttal, offering a silent, hurt glare that communicated her deep feelings.

Eijar uncoiled from his neck, slithering across the bedsheets to rest beside Ciel's arm, gaining a clearer view of the child's sleeping face. "With whom do you intend to leave him? "I have no intention of placing him under their care.. I know that those two are useless," Isiah stated calmly. "I am entrusting him to you."
