Chapter 91 - Isiah's worst fear

The house looked like a warped reflection of his childhood home manifested in an alternate dimension. There was no surrounding garden, no dense forest, no decorative trim, and no furniture inside.

It looked both bizarre and deeply creepy. Isiah hurried toward the entrance despite his intense physical fatigue. The moment he stood before the threshold, a heavy wave of deja vu washed over him, like staring directly into a painful memory from his past. He didn't bother knocking, fully aware that the structure was completely abandoned.

He pushed the door open and paused on the threshold to take in the full interior. The inside bore no resemblance to his actual home; only the exterior shell mimicked the architecture.

The interior was a single, vast, empty room with no inner walls, no kitchen, no bedrooms, and no cellar. It was an exceptionally strange design for any structure built on the old globe.
