"By the way, you're pretty good with a knife, right?" Elder Chen asked.
Lou Lan nodded.
Elder Chen tossed the washed pig liver straight to her. "Slice it. Thin."
Lou Lan's tone turned serious. "Be precise to the millimeter."
Elder Chen shook his head. "No need to be so uptight, just cut however."
"Three millimeters, how about that?" Lou Lan asked.
Elder Chen helplessly rubbed his forehead. "Sometimes you're just like some rigid academic."
Lou Lan said, "Cutting things and Bone Crushing follow the same principle—you can't be off even a hair."
"You medical types, seriously… forget it, forget it, I'm not saying it. Just hurry up and cut, I'll go wash the green peppers and onions."
Once all the ingredients were ready, Elder Chen put on a wok-tossing show. His movements were smooth and fluid, done in one go.
When it came out of the wok, the pig liver was steaming hot and fragrant. The aroma came from the fusion of the food and the wok's heat—this was a high-level stir-fry.
