Lurvana closed the distance between them until there was barely an inch separating their bodies. She tilted her head, studying Ren with the sort of hungry curiosity usually reserved for a particularly interesting prey.
"I want you to show me a good time," she purred, her voice dripping with seduction. "This party is dreadfully boring, and I'm in desperate need of some excitement. So, what do you say, adventurer? Care to make out with me in the fountain?"
Ren stared at her.
Of all the quests he had undertaken, this one was turning out to be one of the strangest. He had fought monsters, explored dangerous dungeons, and dealt with enough troublesome NPCs to fill a tavern. Yet somehow, entertaining a group of capricious fey at a party was proving to be a different kind of challenge altogether.
He took a deliberate step backward.
"I'm flattered, but I have a girlfriend," he replied. "And I'm not interested in that kind of entertainment."
