"Sis?"
Chester Sawyer thought, 'I'm the one who caused this mess, so I should be the one to be embarrassed.'
He had even told Sydney Sawyer to stay away, but she had come forward anyway.
"It's fine. I don't care which one of you plays me." Casey Huxley was still sipping his drink, looking completely relaxed.
"I'll give it a try," Sydney Sawyer said with a smile.
When Yancy Hale entered the pool hall, he saw Sydney Sawyer holding a cue stick, pacing around the table as if looking for the right angle. He decided to watch from a distance. After all, he was here now, so it wasn't like Casey Huxley could stir up any real trouble.
'Even if I have to step in, I should wait for a dramatic moment to play the hero and save the damsel in distress.'
'Who knows, Sydney Sawyer might get so moved she'll throw herself into my arms.'
