The Barbecue Restaurant
Sydney Sawyer rested her chin on her hand, watching the two goofballs go pick out barbecue ingredients together.
"Bro, the grilled lamb chops here are to die for. Should I grab you a couple?" Although Yancy Hale was a carefree rogue, he took good care of Chester Sawyer.
"Why are we eating barbecue?"
Chester Sawyer hadn't expected his first meal in Aethelgard to be barbecue skewers.
"As the old saying goes, 'In heaven, may we be lovebirds, wing to wing. On earth, may we eat barbecue,'" Yancy Hale said, grabbing a pair of saucy grilled wings for him. "Here, a pair of wings to double the fun."
"Bro, want some oysters?"
"Sure. If you want them, grab a few more."
"I'm still young, so I don't need them yet. You can eat a few more."
"Me?"
Yancy Hale hadn't processed that yet.
"Don't they say these are a man's 'recharging station'?"
"..."
'What was that supposed to mean? That I need a boost?'
