Falling for someone is easy.
Trying to forget them is the hard part.
The very night Sydney Sawyer decided to stop liking Sebastian Lockwood, she bought a ticket home.
Even though she arrived in the small hours of the morning, Jane Spencer made a special trip to the station to pick her up. A table full of food was already waiting at home. Sydney's nose tingled, and her eyes turned red.
"Why are you crying all of a sudden?"
Jane Spencer thought she had been frightened by the typhoon, so she wrapped an arm around her shoulder and comforted her endlessly.
"Don't be scared. Mom's here."
Sydney Sawyer nodded.
After returning home, she barely went out. She spent her days cooped up, either chatting with friends, watching dramas, or occasionally going shopping with Jane Spencer. That period seemed carefree and relaxing, but in the dead of night, her thoughts would inevitably turn to Sebastian Lockwood...
Her heart would ache, and she'd feel so pathetic.
