Yuchi and Feng Zhaoyang sat downstairs at the inn having breakfast. Despite both being cultivators, enjoying a bowl of noodles in the winter was quite comforting, especially when Feng Zhaoyang was treating. Yuchi, thinking "why not take advantage of a free meal," hadn't had beef noodles—inflicting real pain on cattle—in a long time.
While pouring chili oil into his beef noodles, Yuchi turned to Feng Zhaoyang beside him and asked, "Fellow Daoist Feng, how familiar are you with the State Capital? Do you know of someone known as Lord Wang within the Celestial Craft Workshop?"
Originally complaining about how stingy Yuchi was as a cultivator, pinching pennies even when eating noodles, Feng Zhaoyang, upon hearing Yuchi's question, immediately replied without much thought, "Ah, Lord Wang. Yes, such a person exists. He's called Wang Haoran."
