I heard Lord Charlotte's voice and sighed in relief. Then, I took a deep breath before saying, "Lord, I need your help."
"What happened?" Charlotte asked.
"Is the Forbidden Wizard Remi troubling you?" she asked further. She had heard about the matter from Manager Lara, and she had been shocked and angry ever since.
"It's not about that. I'm in Darkwood City. I have captured City Lord Bryan. He was compromised; he knows about the enemy force."
"They had him under control due to an evil spell. I think it's not safe to interrogate him myself. That's why I decided to hand him over to you," I said to her in a calm tone.
There was silence on the other side of the call. Charlotte was digesting the information, because the news was too sudden for her.
She hadn't expected Vincent Carey to achieve a breakthrough in this matter so soon.
She then said, "Alright, I'm coming there with a few members of our faction. Just wait for half an hour."
"Okay," I replied.
