Goldkeep City
The guards had allowed me to enter. Then I started walking around the city. It's a new place. I wanted to rest so that I could continue with the journey later.
After looking around a few streets, I came to know about the good hotels. Most of them are located near the city gate.
Yet the main ones are located at the center of the city. I don't need to be so high-profile. I need a place to fool others.
I'm going to stay inside the Gregor Mansion. It's just that the city atmosphere lightens the mood. Otherwise, I would have found a secluded location to hide.
Then I walked up to a decent inn near the city gate. The inn is a three-story building with a new paint job. No wonder everyone talked nicely about it.
I walked into the place and met with the inn manager. The manager is a middle-aged man. He wanted to see my temporary ID.
I gave the ID to him. The middle-aged man saw the ID information. He verified the details with his own database.
