He basically threatened him.
Hearing about the Forbidden Wizards, the smile on Magic Lord Clint's face disappeared.
He knew his limits. He was not foolish enough to offend the Forbidden Wizards.
But he was disappointed to see Vincent Carey's reaction. He saw that b@stard was not angry at all.
He had failed to incite a reaction from him. Now that everyone was here, it was hard for him to take action again.
Clint gave a look at Vincent Carey before leaving the room. He then looked at the staff before exiting the place.
From beginning to end, he didn't find anything wrong. When he was gone from the place, the staff sighed in relief.
But their mission had succeeded. Magic Lord Clint had fallen into the trap; he just didn't know it himself yet.
