The icy obsidian spear cane straight to my heart. I had no choice but to dodge it...by shrinking myself normal.
"Shit! What the heaven was that!?" I yelled at the grinning, almost laughing Shifter Maker.
"We're you playing with me, Devil? You wanted to intimidate me? Look how stupid you look." He said, laughed with his subordinates and other Shifters that occupied spaces haphazardly all over his courtyard.
I felt the wave of embarrassment rush through me. Gena was growling behind the vines that were stuffed into her mouth. Akira refused to see what happened, tried to close his ears so he wouldn't listen to their scary, ridiculous collective laughter. They were Shifters after all.
My eyes darted towards Seraphiel who was still in those vines, tipped over the edge of the tall staircase to look at me. His eyes were filled with worry. He was sympathizing me...my condition.
I have become a joke to these Shifters...
