Theo chuckled, checking the gloss on his ceramic canvas one last time before rotating the plate and sliding it across the rustic wooden table. "Here you go. Happy anniversary, Ayia."
Ayia leaned over the table, her golden eyes widening as she took in the completed artwork. The breath caught completely in her throat, and a soft, emotional gasp escaped her lips.
It wasn't just a random sketch. Right in the center of the white ceramic, Theo had painted an incredibly detailed, beautifully vibrant scene of their chibi versions together. The backdrop was an absolute masterpiece of miniature painting: a sweeping, pale sand beach leading into a deep indigo sea that pulsed with gentle, hand-drawn waves. Above them, a magnificent midnight sky was painted in rich, bleeding watercolor gradients of navy and violet, packed with a sprawling canopy of twinkling, bright starlight and a brilliant silver crescent moon.
