Ahana smirked at Malice. Her eye glowing with energy and pulsating. "Shall we get started?" Ahana asked.
Without a single word, Malice flicked his hand upward, as a deep cut formed across Ahana's chest.
Ahana healed her wound almost instantly, as she teleported in front of Malice and placed her hand on his abs. "Touch of blessings."
A bright light shined and shot Malice away. Malice flipped and turned his body to stop it. Malice then teleported above Ahana, his blood-colored eyes glowing in the darkness. He slammed his two feet down on her and unleashed his new found energy. Hundreds of beams of light shot up into the sky, only to then fall down and crash into the town, destroying even more of it.
Amongst all of the chaos and fighting, the jinn slayers that were also stuck inside of the town began running rescued throughout the town. Lily, Jodi, and Wraith were near the edge of the barrier, trying to find and locate any survivors that still hadn't been hit. However, Xavier talked Ghost into his own agenda.
Jackson stayed on the building and watched over Harvey's body, staying close to him. "This guy…was around my age. Why is…why is it children like us have to die in adult conflict? When I look around on this battlefield that used to be a town, all I see is bad spirits, corpses, and kids fighting for their lives. Tsk…this…this really does suck. Whatever your relationship was with Ahana, I hope…you were happy in your final moments."
******
Ahana and Malice floated above the destruction, locking eyes. "That thing you said earlier. About "still a chance?" Does someone like you truly believe in that? Time for change?"
"In a way…yes."
(Ahana…she possesses the eyes of good, but…I sense something's wrong. Flashes of the old eye-user keep running through my memories. She is nothing like that man. What…happened all these years?)
Malice tilted his head, his eyes glowing with jinn energy as a beam of energy shot out of his eyes and at Ahana. Ahana flew underneath the beam and dashed at Malice from below.
"Haaauuugh!!!" Ahana landed a deadly punch to Malice's stomach, making the jinn cough up blood. Malice grabbed Ahana's wrist and began swinging her around. He launched her away and pointed at her. "Jinn slayer attack: Blossom step!" Malice seemingly teleported behind Ahana. Malice tried to kick her, but space or gravity itself stopped his kick from landing.
"What's this?" Malice asked, struggling to push his leg through.
"The more we fight, the more I evolve. I just keep learning and learning!l Ahana laughed as she made a fist and twisted her hand.
Malice's legs and arms twisted and snapped off of his body. Ahana grabbed Malice and threw him to the ground.
(Her skills and power seems to be unlimited! She's learning as she fights! A natural talent like myself! I too have learned and grown from this experience, which is exactly why…I won't let this be the end for me!)
Malice grew his parts back and dodged the yellow ball of energy that Ahana launched at him.
(My energy…the output of my energy is fading. The rust is growing!) Malice thought as he continued to run along the long road, Ahana flying above him and launching energy balls at Malice.
Malice grabbed a street light pole and threw it at Ahana. Ahana, without moving, split the pole in two and watched as Malice jumped at her.
"Jinn slayer weapon: Clower trident-"
"Jinn slayer attack: God's wrath!"
The darkness disappeared for a moment, but a bright light had fallen upon the town, burning any and all evil energy from the inside. Malice yelled in pain, as Ahana's attack lasted for 3 seconds. Ahana flew down while Malice tried to recover, kicking the jinn, and following up with an uppercut that sent him near the clouds. (This feeling.)
Ahana teleported over him, putting her hands together and slamming them down on Malice's head. Malice hit the ground and slid across it, his hand on the ground trying to stop himself.
Ahana flew down and towards him. Malice stood up, his head down, hearing a man's voice.
(You…have so much strength in this world. Don't let…those people win. No matter what, we love you…my dear friend.)
"This voice…that's right. I had a duty, right?" Malice asked himself. Ahana came in strong, buildings being tossed away by her speed, she pulled her right arm back and threw a punch.
"Huh?!" Ahana gasped as Malice had stopped her punch with his hand.
******
"GIVE HIM HELL, ELIAS!!!" A man yelled amongst the crowd.
Elias, a tall man with white hair with light brown tips, greens eyes, tattoos covering his arms, stood at 6'5, and had a silver necklace with a cross.
The crowd erupted in cheer as Elias dealt the finishing blow to his opponent, knocking him out right in the middle of the stadium. "YEAH!!!"
"ELIAS!!!"
"HE'S SO COOL!!!"
"I LOVE YOU!!!"
The crowd cheered while throwing roses into the arena. Elias smiled and waved at the crowd, bowing his head to them and walking towards his opponent. "Good fight." Elias smiled as he held out his hand.
"Tsk. Talk to someone who's never lost. Good fight, Elias." The man said as he grabbed Elias's hand.
Two people sat high on their thrones. Both wearing dark cloaks to cover their faces. The leader of the dark clan: Marie and the leader of the mighty clan: Zarbo.
Elias and the man kneeled before the two. Both Marie and Zarbo put their thumbs in the air, the crowd erupted in even louder cheering. "That commoner you own is simply…amazing." Marie whispered over to Zarbo, who leaned on his right arm. "I suppose so. He is, after all, the one who fought to put the Ironheart family and the Lockert family into the clan. Usually, two families are enough, but not a single warrior could defeat that man. He amuses me, Marie." Zarbo chuckled.
"Yeah? He single?"
Zarbo raised an eyebrow and just rotated his head slightly over towards Marie. She was looking at Zarbo with a determined stare in her eyes. "I'm…not selling him to any clan-"
"Well, why not? How much money would you be willing to pay, for him to take his family and have them join my clan?"
"No money you offer will-"
"When I want something or someone…I'll do my best to get it. You know this, Zarbo."
Zarbo went silent for a few seconds before deciding to answer.
"He is not for sale. He's a high ranked family member amongst the mighty clan and…he is taken. He also has a daughter."
"Oh? Well, I'd love to meet her. You can make that happen, Right? Right, Zarbo?"
"…..we shall see."
"I'm glad to here it."
******
One hour after the fight. Elias and his best friend Able were walking down the brown dirt road, headed towards a large house just in the distance. "You did well today. I've never seen anything like it." Able complimented. "Yeah? You act like you're not strong or something. You can give me a run for my money if it weren't for that damn disease." Elias said.
"Yea…it's a curse my ancestors went through, passing through the generations of my family. It sucks but, whatever, I try to keep on living for my family. You've done a lot for us, Elias. I plan on paying you back one day. I just don't really know how to do that yet." Able laughed while scratching his head.
Elias lightly punched Able on his left shoulder. "You don't have to do that. You're doing enough already, friend. You've taken care of my daughter, taught me how to fight, and…allowed me to find love with her."
"Yeah. I always think about sis every single day. It was before we had access to jinn energy, so don't let that day eat you up, Elias. That jinn is dead now. Her soul is at rest." Able explained.
(Run….RUUUUUN!!!)
Elias fell to a knee, his heart beating and breathing staggered. "Elias-"
Elias held out his hand. "I'm fine. Do not worry for me. Let's just…get home. I'm tired, Able."
******
Able and Elias approached a great big White House. It was a beautiful white mansion that had 3 floors, a golden porch, multiple windows, and a beautiful flower bed that stretched for many yards, full of flowers.
In front of the house, was the leader of the dark clan: Marie.
Able immediately kneeled down, pulling Elias down with him. "Ms." Able said softly. Marie had two large men walking at her side as she walked down the golden steps. She stood over the two men with a smile. "Raise your heads." She ordered.
Able and Elias both did as she said. "I'm sorry to come to your beautiful home without warning. Please…forgive me."
"It's fine, lady Marie." Able said. Marie turned her attention towards Elias now. She glared down at him with a smirk. "Elias Lockert. It's a pleasure to meet you. You're a rather fascinating warrior, one of the most skilled I've seen. I'd like to talk to you…alone."
******
"You've got a good friend by your side, Elias." Marie said while the two walked through the forest. The sun shining through some of the shadows in the area, looming like lost souls.
"Yes. He has done a lot for me and continues to do so, Ms. Marie."
"You've done a lot for him and his family also. I've never understood how people do it. Be able to form such bonds and companionships. To trust someone like they were your own family." Marie said as she looked up at the sky while walking, letting her long hair drop freely.
"It's not hard to put faith or trust in anyone-"
"That's not true. You must've never been betrayed before. That's good. I'm happy for you. However, you simply don't know what someone is thinking or planning. That goes with everyone you meet in life. A smoke screen, a fake face, smile, weakness, and strength. If one seems closely connected to you, you'd least likely expect them to do something wrong to you in the end, right? From an enemy…you'd see it coming." Elias stopped in his track when listening to Marie. Elias looked around and noticed where he was.
"This is a lesson, Elias. I have…eyes on you. I want you. I want you to serve me and only me. How much money must I give to have you?" Marie asked while still looking up at the sky.
(This unsettling feeling. What is this?)
"Elias…I asked you a question."
"Ms. Marie, my home is with the mighty clan-"
"Good answer. However, you need to look around you. Around you is mostly darkness with little light. I know all about your jinn abilities. You rely on light to utilize your jinn energy to its peak. See how easily I lured you in? I could simply forcefully take you with me and your family would have no idea where you went….but I'm only kidding!" Marie laughed as she lightly punched Elias on his chest. "But you see how fast that could've escalated? Don't let a kind face…cut through your trust and guard like knife through butter. But, I am serious. Very soon…I'll be looking for a mate to create offspring with. I want you, Elias. I'll give you 3 days to think on it. Your family and daughter can also come with you if you decide to come live in my home."
"Ms. Marie, I thank you for the offer, but I simply can't. A few years ago, I lost my lover to a jinn. It was the mighty clan who took us in and gave us a new home. For that reason…I'll have to decline your offer."
"It was actually me who recruited you, Elias. You were only but a few miles away when my clan picked up the reading. Once I personally went to study the area, it was I who threw your name out there. You are in the mighty clan because Zarbo loves your strength, not because you're special to him. What do you think would happen once you start losing your fights? Start to weaken in power and strength? Or when you simply…die from age or disease?"
"My family will be safe and fine." Elias replied.
"I do not think so, Elias. You're an undefeated champion amongst the mighty clan. If you were to lose, you'd damage that title along with your reputation. You'd be killed-"
"Why are you…messing with me all of a sudden? Mr. Zarbo gave me a home! A second chance-"
"How is you you think Zarbo and the mighty clan found you or even offered you a chance to gain riches and fortune in their clan? It was us, the dark clan who investigated the scene and gathered all of readings. The readings led us to you, Elias. The fools who gave information on your readings went behind my back and made a deal with Zarbo to take you in but, of course, I had to kill those two men. The point is…it was us who found you. Who gave you a chance. Once you see defeat, Zarbo will find another champion. Do you really wanna risk everything you've worked so hard for?"
"…..I'm not really sure what to say honestly. I just…don't truly believe you. I…I want to stay with my clan, Ms. Marie…Forgive me."
Marie closed her eyes and chuckled. "Cute. Very well. Go back to your family and enjoy them. I'll be seeing you real soon, Elias."
Elias walked past Marie and headed back towards his home, but not before Marie grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him in for a kiss.
Elias quickly pushed Marie back, but the caught his arm and pulled him in again. She swept her leg underneath Elia's feet, knocking him on the ground.
Before Elias could react, she pinned her heel against his neck, pushing him into the ground.
"Don't struggle. You're in my domain in terms of abilities. Elias…don't for a second think I was giving you an offer. It was an order. You…belong to the dark clan. I'll see to it that it happens, okay?"
"G-get off of..m-me…!"
"Sure thing. Have a great rest of your day, Elias."
******
The next day, Marie had decided to hold a meeting with the leader of the mighty clan. Zarbo and her sat at the ends of a long wooden table, in golden chairs. "You sure don't like the other three clans do you, Marie? Why is it you only call for me?" Zarbo asked, drinking his tea.
"Because you're the only clan I'm associated with. But that's not why I called this meeting. I have an opponent I'd like Elias to fight. I think you'd find it…VERY amusing."
"…..go on."
******
"Daddy, look! Look at the pedals!"
"It's petals, Xaxilia."
"It's pedals! Who cares how you're supposed to say it!" Xaxilia laughed as she hugged Elias tightly around his shoulders.
Elias carried his daughter through the large flower garden that was in front of his home. "Flowers are quite the beautiful plants." Elias said as he bent down and plucked one, putting it behind his daughter's ear and wrapping it sofly around it.
"Daddy, when can I finally visit the outside world? You told stories of the world from outside. I…I'd really love to go there one day with you!" Xaxilia said, her smile reaching ear to ear.
"When you were younger…we used to live in normal civilization. However, the day we were attacked by a spirit, we couldn't live normally. People called us crazy, delusional, and killers. Amongst all that chaos came the mighty clan. Giving us a place to call home. Only if…I were to engage in being Zarbo's champion." Elias explained as he began walking towards the mansion.
"You had to hurt the man who was the champion recently, daddy?"
"I did hurt him, but I didn't kill him. The more wins I got, the more we went up in the rankings in the clan."
"Daddy…what's the end goal then? What's your dream?"
Elias stopped and looked ahead, thinking about the question. "I…haven't thought about it. My dream…was ruined whenever…no. Never mind."
Elias's dream before being involved with the supernatural and the clan, was to simply have a family and live the rest of his life with his wife. Now that he was where he was today, he wasn't sure on what his dreams or goals were now. He simply…wanted to continue winning so that his family and friends would keep thriving.
******
Flyers went all throughout the mighty clan. Reaching even the low-level famalies in the clan. "Elias vs mysterious opponent" it read. It quickly became the main topic of discussion throughout the mighty and dark clans.
Elias was called into a meeting with Zarbo, who had brought forth Marie as his guest at the meeting. Elias was guided by multiple guards, leading him to two large bright red doors, that looked identical to that of fresh blood that was painted on them. Elias entered to see Marie and Zarbo sitting at the long wooden table in a stone room, small lamps making light.
"Hey there, Elias. That's your name, right?" Marie asked, acting like she never met Elias before. Elias ignored her and turned his attention towards Zarbo.
"Elias." He Zarbo said, giving him a nod. Elias sat down and listened.
"Elias. Marie here has found you an opponent to fight. I think you against this opponent will be one for the books. I'm making it a championship match."
Elias kept a steady and calm face when hearing those words. He didn't want to show any reaction.
(Marie…she wants me to lose so she can try to talk me into joining her clan. I'm not sure what happened to the champion that was before me, but he hasn't been seen in years after that match. If I lose…will everyone and me…)
Elias smirked and glared at Marie, who winked at him. "Send him whenever." Elias said confidently.
Marie's smirk disappeared, her eyebrows raised in surprise and confusion. "Very well. In five days, the fight shall take place. Good luck, Elias." Zarbo said.
Marie slammed both her hands on the table, quincly releasing what she'd done, she played it off. "I…I thought there was a bug. Forgive me, Zarbo." Marie whispered, her hair covering her eyes and most of her face.
******
Elias sat with his daughter, Able, Able's girlfriend: Chela, Able's mother: Suzan, and five of the house servants, though, they did not treat them as such.
"So what are you trying to tell us exactly?" Able asked, his girlfriend grooming his long brown hair.
"I'm saying…if I were to lose, I'm not sure what will happen to everything we've built."
"You haven't lost a single fight in years. Hell, you even beaten me more times than I can count. Besides, why would Zarbo-"
Because it makes the clan look weak. I'm only asking you all….if Marie's plans do somehow come to fruition, I need to know what it is you all like to do? Run away? Join her clan?"
"Daddy, that wouldn't be freedom, right? You'd just be working for another clan, being owned in a way."
Everyone gasped and looked at Elias. A gentle breeze blew by, making his hair blow back softly to reveal his beautiful green eyes.
"Sir-"
"Call me Elias, Catherine." Elias said.
Catherine smirked and changed it. "Elias. If you truly believe you will lose, you're saying you want us to have a backup plan? Where exactly would we go?" Catherine asked, her other fellow servants standing behind her. Catherine and the other four servants wore mask that covered their faces, had their long back hair tied in loose buns, and wore long black dresses that complimented their brown skins.
"If I lose. If I lose…I want you all…to find life outside of the clans. To be free. No more…no more fighting for it but, to simply just…live. Live on and find light in your lives." Elias said as he turned around and looked at everyone. "But of course…I don't plan on losing to that strange woman."
Before anyone else could say anything, a sudden spurge of jinn energy filled the entire area and mountain.
The trees blew, the sun shined brighter, peace flowed throughout everyone's bodies. "Elias!" Able yelled.
"Already on it!" Elias said as he used his jinn ability and ran at the speed of light towards the strange phenomenon.
******
Elias ran and ran further down the mountain. He'd never been able to make it this far down the mountain in years. He was shocked no one else could sense this strange power or were even around to stop him from going lower.
Elias stopped in his tracks when a bright light was in front of him. Elias immediately fell down, being forced into a kneel. (What is this power?! My body…it won't-)
"Elias. I've heard of you! Forgive me for my energy. It does harm to majority of the people in this world." A man with a soft voice said. Elias tried to look up, but the man quickly urged him to not do so.
"If you lay eyes on me, you'll perish. Please, keep your eyes lower than my knees."
"Who are you?! What's with…this presence? It's…it's god-like-"
"There's only one god. I'm not them. I'm simply…a vessel that was chosen."
(A vessel that was chosen?)
"Are you…you have the eyes of god?!"
The man did not reply. The man walked behind Elias. "You may now look ahead. Just don't turn around." The man said.
Elias stood up, his body trembling. "How do you know my name?"
"Ahaha! With these eyes, I know all. I have a bad omen when looking in this direction, so here I am. I only hope…it's not the work of him."
"Of who? What omen?!" Elias asked.
"Hmm…it's not the work of him, though it is probably the work of that unholy creature."
"What exactly are you going on about?!" Elias shouted. Elias was about to turn around, but the man had placed his hand on Elias's shoulder. The power and sheer force from just the man's two fingers was enough to grab Elias and launch him through the earth it felt like.
"Elias. I shouldn't tell you this, but…there are forces out here that one can only comprehend. There is and will be a clash of good and evil. This is why I exist. Why…the red eyes exist. Elias. You will lose. You will lose your battle…and become a creature that the pit of hell shall welcome in open arms. I sense good in you and still do, even if you were to become that. Elias…you must leave this cursed clan, and let nature run its course in a few hundred years from now. Take your family, daughter, friends, and leave this place. No matter what, god is king. All good…is king and the way. That is all I can do here. Goodbye, my friend." The man said, removing his hand from Elias's shoulder. The pressure and energy disappeared as Elias spun around, looking frantically.
Elias dropped to a knee as he began to sweat, like he had just emerged from the salty oceans.
Suddenly, in his mind, the sky had split open, the red sky fell upon the five clans, the angels came from heaven, and the earth itself shattered. Blood. Screams. Clashes of steal. Massive wings that were bigger than planes. And….the evil being.
******
Elias snapped out of it and hurried back to his home. He ran up the mountain using his light ability and noticed the sun felt weaker than before. (It's morning?! I was just-)
Elias stopped when reaching the front of his house.
Zarbo and a large number of guards flooded the area. "Elias!" Zarbo yelled out. Elias kneeled down quickly. "Your family couldn't find you. You've been gone for two days, Elias! I thought I told you to never leave the mountain-"
"I was on the mountain. I was simply training for the upcoming fight. Forgive me. If you want to punish me, I understand, sir."
"No need. Your family was…just worried for you."
******
(You will lose. You will become a creature that the pit of hell will welcome with open arms. Run.)
Elias sat in bed, the cold wind pushing into his room from the open window. Elias couldn't eat. Sleep. Even think straight. "I think I need to get my family out of here. I've made up my dream. All I want…all I want is for my daughter and everyone else to live outside the clan. To live amongst civilization and be free from the clan. To start famalies. To start generations outside of this prison."
******
One day before the fight.
"You're telling me you actually ran into a user of the eyes?!" Able asked grabbing Elias by his shoulders and shaking him.
"What did he say?! You think he used his powers to have you there for a couple of days or what?!"
Elias ignored Able and walked towards the massive window of the mansion. "Able, I'm terrified. For the second time in my life, I…am truly scared."
"Scared of what?" Able asked.
"I was told I'd lose this battle…I think. Able…promise me. If I lose or seem to be losing, I need you to take everyone and run. Leave the mountain. Fight your way to the bottom if you have to and leave this place. Can you promise me that, my friend?"
"Of course-"
"Make a soul pact. Do…you swear on your soul to do this?"
"I swear on my soul, Elias. Do not worry, for you…are strong."
******
One hour before the match.
Elias walked outside. His daughter, Able and his wife, and the house servants were all standing in their well dressed outfits, the usual black and white button up for Able, and the women wore dark purple dresses with their hair tied up.
Elias wore multiple white robes, wrapping around his body and face with an extremely long black belt that dragged across the ground. His eyes were relaxed and calm, the green in them popped out more due to the white that covered his body.
(He looks like a cool ninja!) Xaxilia thought.
"Greetings, champion." An older man said, opening the wagon for everyone to sit in. "We will be going to the sky clan for this event. Zarbo wanted my to let you know that." The man said.
"The sky clan? Why did they change?" Able's wife asked.
"Not sure. It was ordered from Zarbo." The man replied.
"Very well." Elias replied in a cold tone as he entered the wagon, with two powerful and muscular white horses in the front.
"Let us be on our way."
******
A total of 300,000 people were in attendance for the fight coming. Everyone who entered the clan was covered in blindfolds until they reached the seats of the arena. Xaxilia's blindfold was removed as other people had theirs lifted. The golden seats, the cloud painting everywhere including the ceiling, it seemed as if they were in the sky itself. "Amazing." Xaxilia said softly, clutching the cross on her neck.
(If Elias were to actually lose, how would we be able to disappear? Well, it would be a process if Zarbo really did want to get rid of us. However, we'd need to leave as soon as nightfall comes.) Able began thinking to himself, drops of sweat beginning to form. "Elias…."
Elias was sitting alone in a metal room. He removed his sandals, letting his feet roam free, as he practiced his kicks and punches. He removed his upper robes, only having the white pants and long black belt on.
As he was warming his body up, there was a knock on the door.
"Enter." Elias said, as Zarbo stepped into the room and shut the door. "Elias! How are you? Are you ready?" Zarbo asked while Elias continued to shadow fight.
"Yes." He replied.
"Good. That's…good. Listen , I, uh, I…I need you to lose this fight…Elias."
Elias froze in place and slowly faced Zarbo. "What do you mean?"
"Lose this fight and die in the name of the mighty clan. It's not up to me-"
"Is Marie putting this in your head?! What will happen to my family if I lose, Zarbo?!"
"Lower your tone when addressing me. You are but a servant family of our clan. You WILL lose and have your life taken for it-"
Elias stepped to Zarbo, towering over the man who always had his face covered. Zarbo looked up and could see the intensity that was in Elias's eyes.
"What…will…happen to my family?"
"They…will also be killed."
Elias smacked his lips. "Zarbo…I will kill you-"
"You can't kill me. I'm sorry it's come to this, but…I have no choice. For if you were to gain a win today, my life shall be in danger. You will die today and your family. I'm sorry. The one in charge of the clans…is someone whom I dare not disappoint. For you are…one who can challenge destiny itself."
"What are you talking about?! Who gave you the order, Zarbo?!"
"The match is about to begin. Forgive me, Elias." Zarbo said as the massive drums began beating. It was as if Elias's body vibrated with each strike of the drums. Zarbo slammed the door shut and left the room. Suddenly, the room shifted up and began to raise Elias.
(My family…I have to get them out of here!)
In the sky, high above the sky clan's massive and glorious mountain, were two men…two men who had been in conflict with each other for many years. Two men who, when clashed, had always created a catastrophic eventtoshinagi that always left dark imprints on the history of jinn slayer and the world itself.
"I had a feeling you'd be here…old friend. A man said while looking at another man who appeared through a thick cloud. A pair of red glowing eyes starred back at him.
"You look…rather terrible, Saritoshinato." The man with the red eyes chuckled.
"You still have those disgusting eyes…my old friend. How has life treated you? Ever since you've betrayed me and everyone else. You possess the red-eyes. A clear sign of evil. Nosferado, you truly…are a disgusting individual." Sari said.
Sari possessed the yellow/golden eyes, while Nosferado possessed the red eyes. These two were the users of the eyes during their time.
"You were my best friend. We all loved you and you betrayed us all for power?" Sari asked in a serious tone.
Nosferado sighed and shrugged his shoulders, not having a care in the world. "People like you…are the reason why weakness exists in this world-"
"You fool. You had everything a man could ask for, but you still need…wanted more. Humans are amazing to be amongst." Sari said as he flattened his hand.
"Sari. I do not regret…any of my actions. I've achieved power one can only imagine. There is no god. No hope. No miracles. If that were true, don't you think the crew would be here today?"
Sari ignored his words and closed his eyes. "God exist. Even your pathetic masters know this. They all fear him. His name alone is enough to install fear in those cowards that gave you that power. Hope and miracles do exist also, old friend. Despite everything you've done…I still love you and forgive you." Sari said.
Nosferado looked at Sari with a shocked expression in his eyes. Nosferado began to cling his fist in anger and frustration. "Even now…you still…are a fool to truly believe that. Very well, Saritoshinato. We shall battle once again…right?"
"There are innocent people-"
"You think I care about…these damned animals?! Im the one who started the clans…remember? They are what the world is supposed to be. Vile. Easy to manipulate. Greedy. Sinful. Liars. Killers. And-"
"That is all very true. But aren't we all sinners? Doesn't the lord forgive? At the end of the day, I shall appoint angels to these clans and tell them of this place to try and influence these people."
"Oh? You think that would fix them? Even hundreds of years from now the clans will still be ruled by fools, Sari! You don't know…you don't know what I know when it comes to the future of this world. My side…always wins."
"It seems you are too far gone…old friend. I shall put you out of your misery." Sari said as the two took fighting stances.
Below them, Elias was brought to the surface, he faced a large golden gate with hundreds of blood covered spikes that were on the interior of the cage. Elias looked up on the highest point of the stadium. There were a total of 5 people who sat high in the shadows on massive thrones.
Elias locked eyes with Able, who was to the top right of the stadium and slightly gave Able a nod. "Get out when u can." Elias mouthed to him.
Elias then felt the ground shake beneath him as something or someone let out a mighty roar that silenced the entire stadium. "Your opponent will not be a man or woman…but a jinn!" Marie announced as the crowd erupted into cheers.
"Leaders of the five great clans. I swear it on my soul…I'll end your reign!" Elias announced as the gates slowly opened. Footsteps were slowly approaching Elias from the inside. Elias prepared himself as a tall, slim, and a coal black jinn emerged from the darkness. (This feeling…this jinn isn't weak-)
"Jinn attack: Night slash!" The jinn chanted as a black line shot through the opening and almost sliced Elias's head off.
Elias ducked down and used his energy as a shield. "Jinn attack: Lightspeed."
Everything froze in place. The crowd. The jinn. The noise. It was only Elias that entered this realm…so he thought. Elias was shocked to see the jinn had matched his speed and threw a punch. Elias dodged it quickly and leaped to the walls of the arena.
(It moves at the speed of light? No…it's his ability. The jinn itself has the ability to possess darkness. Darkness and light. However, due to the proton's in light it's a physical thing, allowing it to have momentum and energy. Darkness doesn't have this…but…could it be that this jinn's abilities are the way light works just only swapped for dark? Heh…the perfect counter to me.) Elias thought as the jinn appeared behind him. The jinn transformed its arms into dark swords that slashed Elias across his face.
The crowd roared in entertainment. Elias's boss spilled over the sky floor, his heart beating almost out of his chest.
(I've been hit?)
Elias teleported away from the jinn and swiped his in front of his own face. Rays of light struck the jinn all over its body, leaving holes so wide that you could see through the jinn. The jinn immediately regenerated its wounds and charged at Elias.
(Regeneration? Does this mean I have to destroy the soul itself?)
Elias snapped a finger, causing a small ball of light to form in the middle of the arena. The jinn immediately opened its mouth to shoot a black ray of darkness at the ball.
"I wouldn't of done that." Elias said as the ball had exploded, but Elias used his jinn energy to quickly grab the exploding light and compressed it into his hands.
"Exploding force!"
The crowd gasped in awe at the beauty and power Elias presented them. It was like watching a giant meteor up close, flying by in the sky, feeling it's full force.
The jinn clapped its hands together, its one massive eye ball beginning to twitch. "Dark void of death!"
The jinn's energy then collided with Elias's energy.
The jinn then put his hands together, putting the two in a small domain that was no bigger than a volleyball.
The jinn and Elias entered an unborn space. A crack within realty. "Huh?!" Elias gasped as he and the jinn continued their fight within the small domain.
"Jinn attack: fist of light!"
"Jinn attack: fist of darkness!"
Black aura surrounded the fist of the jinn, while yellow aura surrounded Elias's. The two jumped at each other, their fist colliding and then breaking the small domain, shattering it like glass in the now real world.
Everyone was looking at the magnificent view of the now shattered glass like reality that was around them.
Elias and the jinn fell towards the ground, looking each other in the eyes. (This jinn…why is it…I feel as though I'm actually-)
The jinn wasted no time. A long black sword grew from its arm, attached to it. The jinn jumped and slashed Elias across his head. The jinn landed, Elias tried to counter it, but the jinn was too fast. The jinn dragged its sword arm across Elias's body. Before Elias could react, the jinn spun around and followed up with an uppercut to Elias's chin. The jinn then punched Elias in his stomach, making Elias slam into the wall of the arena.
"Daddy!!" His daughter yelled.
"Elias!!"
Elias was knocked out for a second, but immediately gained consciousness again. His blood fell from the top of his head, his entire body ached in pain. He looked up to see a smile across Marie's face.
(….am I….really going to lose? I'm actually…scared! I….I….)
"Protect her and them…Elias." A woman's voice said inside of Elias's head.
(Warrior. Warrior!)
The jinn launched itself at Elias, its mouth open, and its arm ready to deal the finishing blow.
Elias jumped up and caught the jinn's hand, the sword penetrating through Elias's hand and stopping it in front of his eye.
"Ahahaha!! That's right! A warrior! I…Elias am…a warrior!!" Elias yelled out with his energy rising even higher.
Marie's smile disappeared as she looked over at Zarbo. "What's the meaning on this?" Marie asked. Zarbo had a worried tone in his voice as he replied: "he…doesn't want to die."
"Kill his family…NOW!" One man ordered as five soldiers marched off of the balcony.
Elias twisted the jinns arm and kicked it away. (Enough energy…enough energy to wipe them all out! I've never done this before…but I can do it!)
Elias put his hands together slowly and uttered the words: "ritual: Light universe." A bright white light blinded everyone in the area. As chaos erupted from inside the stadium, in the sky was an even more terrifying sight.
Nosferado and Safi exchanged blows, each one shaking what felt like the entire earth itself. (What's this feeling? Why is…)
"Because miracles exist, old friend! Behold! Elias still lives and fights!!" Sari announced pointing down at the arena.
"Tsk. I'll…show you a miracle, Sari!" Nosferado pointed to the ground, as an earthquake began to take place. Sari pointed to the sky, as a large crack formed and one massive eyeball looked through it.
"Don't do this, Nosferado. Stand down and come with me…quietly."
"I'd rather die. With that being said…I unleash the demons and jinns upon you all!!!"
******
Elias flew towards the blinded jinn, killer intent on his mind. (I'll kill it quickly, then get my family out of here and-)
Suddenly, a large black punched through the ground followed with a great roar that cracked open the arena floor to reveal a massive army of creatures scaling the walls of what seemed to be hell itself.
The heat burnt Elias, as he uses his speed to quickly back away. (What's going on?!) Elias thought.
"L-lord Nosferado's doing?!" Zarbo gasped as the head of all five clans immediately got out of their seats and marched towards the doors. "Do not let Elias's family escape! Kill them! Kill them all down to even the servants!" Marie ordered as all of them were escaping through a secret door.
Elias noticed them leaving. Elias looked at the jinn for a moment. "You are free, jinn. I do not have conflicts with you. Goodbye." Elias said as he flew towards his family.
(That would've been an excellent opponent though.) Elias thought.
Elias landed on the seat of Able and grabbed his daughter. "Everyone, remain calm and get to the balcony of the arena!" Elias told them. "What are you gonna do?!" Able's wife asked.
"I'll clear a path. Stay behind Able and don't leave his side!" Elias put his daughter on his back. "Hold on tight."
Elias lowered his head and built up his energy. "Jinn attack: great glowing path!"
As the jinns and demons tore through the crowd of civilians, Elias was able to defeat anything that crossed his path. He flew around the stadium and arena, saving people and telling them to go to the balcony. Elias noticed two jinns pulling at a girl. He imagined his daughter being attacked and went full throttle towards them. "Jinn attack: Light ray stomp!"
Hundreds of light rays exploded from Elias's two feet, rays slicing through jinns and demons like butter.
The massive hand emerged higher and higher into the air, as a deep voice laughed and shaked the entire mountain. "ABLE!" Elias called out as he noticed they reached the balcony. "Leave this place! I'll find you guys-"
Another hand shot up from the ground, and five more followed behind it.
(The sky?) Elias, not needing to, but wanted to, he followed where the hands kept on rising.
******
Sari halted in his tracks as the seven hands rose from the pits of what seemed to be hell, and surrounded Nosferado and himself. Nosferado laughed as he swung his arms around in joy.
"With so much death. Sins. Pain. Agony. Fear. And of course…me. I introduce to you…the great rulers of Hell."
Sari felt an uneasy presence around him. The sky turned bloodshot red with black clouds hovering above the two, as red lightning struck down on each of the hands.
Sari looked at the one hand in the middle and saw it.
(Lucifer)
On the hand, sat a large, jet black lion, down to its bones and eyes, just black. The lion sat on a throne with a bleeding heart floating above it, its red eyes glaring down at Sari.
(Beelzebub)
The hand next to it had a massive creature, its fure jet black, thick muscles on its arms and legs, thousands of red eyes sticking out from it's head, large wings, a large crown with gold wrapped around it and flesh, and having a mouth on its stomach and face- two of them.
(Asmodeus)
On the other hand was a ball, when looking closely, you could then see it was a ball of morphed together flesh with different creatures. The first head on the left was a large black bulls head, the second head in the middle was a human male's face, their eyes empty and hallow, and on the head to the right was a white ram's head. The ball floated in the air, its faces smiling down at Sari.
(Mammon)
On the fourth hand, sat a large demon on a mountain of golds and riches. It had reptilian legs, sharp white claws, a menacing expression, and was acting as a physical obstacle guarding it's wealth and riches.
(Leviathan)
On the fifth hand was a massive snake-like creature, wrapping its long body along the giant hand. Its scaly blue skin, sharp white teeth, and long wet body. It's appearance resembling a might dragon of the seas.
(Belphegor)
On the sixth hand was a young and beautiful woman with shining grey eyes, long beautiful blond hair, and wore nothing but a black tank top only. She tilted her head to the side and smiled at Sari from above.
Sari used his energy to stop the feeling he felt, protecting his body with all he could from the evils around him.
"The cowards themselves." Sari said, holding his head high while still maintaining eye contact with Nosferado.
"The eyes of god." The woman said with her manly voice. "You're one of HIS great chosen ones." She pointed, with her long black nail.
"Well of course." The demon sitting on the mountain of gold and riches. "I don't understand how he's alive. Would you explain, Lucifer?" The demon asked, looking towards the black lion. The lion simply flicked its tail and the massive fly stepped foward on to the edge of its massive black hand.
The fly pointed at Sari. "This man shouldn't be alive. However, we know what the future holds for him. The reason why destiny hasn't took place in this area and now space, is because that THING shall cross paths with this human. It is out of our control." The fly creature said. The lion flicked its tail once again, and the the fly then opened its mouth to talk once again.
"Such things like that thing can alter destiny or events that we've layed out for one's reality and life. This chosen mark for death has nothing to do with us, nor should we even think about it."
"What are you all talking about?" Sari asked. The massive fly creature pointed down and towards Elias, who was headed towards them. "Elias…." Nosferado sighed.
"Elias, stand down!" Sari ordered.
Elias couldn't see, as the light from everything was too bright for the human eye. "If you come even an inch closer, the presence from them will kill you where you are. Don't. Move." Sari warned.
Elias froze in his place, his heart pounding against his chest. (Whats going on?! This feeling of…evil!)
"Now then…how should this go down?" Sari asked, as multiple massive eyeballs slowly floated towards them. "These are of no threat to us. These aren't high-ranked angels. They are of no concern-"
"However you ARE in the presence of god's chosen warrior! You all being here already has caused much natural disasters, diseases, death of no explanation, supernatural events of no explanation, and-"
All of the demons besides the beautiful black lion laughed at Sari's words.
"Such beautiful words!"
"Indeed."
"Magnificent!" The floating ball of flesh's heads all said.
"I see. As you all know, if we clash our forces here and now, we'd kill most of the world. Which is why…I shall show you…BEHOLD…THE POWER OF GOD!! Ritual!"
All of the demons hissed at Sari as he put his hands together and made a hand sign.
(End this and take your fight somewhere else, red-eyes.) a deep masculine voice said inside of Nosferado's head. He didn't question how he was able to hear him in such a short amount of time, but he did. Nosferado ended the spell, sending the demonds away and clearing up the hole that was in the ground. "What was even the point in this?" Sari asked, taking his hands apart. "I still have the angels at my side. They'll be here in mere seconds, so what's the play?"
"The play? It's simple. I've already seen where these eyes lead in the future. The whole point in summoning the princes of Hell…was to counter the change."
"What is it you're saying? Elias…Elias is-"
"Elias is destined to lose, but…not here. Not to the jinn…no…he will lose to THEM!"
"I am tired of your talk. Let's end this…old friend."
"I couldn't agree more."
******
Malice opened his eyes and flung his head upwards at Ahana. "I remember…it all now. I…am Elias! Warrior of the Lockert family!" Malice roared, his teeth showing as he tossed Ahana away and through a building.
(Is that who you TRULY are?) a voice called out out.
Malice ignored it and flew towards Ahana. Ahana shouted, making the rubble explode off of her. Ahana then flew at Malice, as the two clashed their hands and heads together, creating a shockwave.
(Daddy…please…come back.)
*******
after the encounter with the great powers of the world, Elias had immediately went out to look for his family. Upon flying around the sky clan's massive mountain, there were millions of dead bodies. (This was the cost of them coming into our world?! Or did the small demons do this?! Did anyone survive??) Elias flew off of the mountain and past the claw clan, who was beside the mountain to the east.
Elias didn't find any survivors there either. "Tell me…tell me you all made it out!" Elias shouted as she stormed towards the mighty clan. Elias had to go over the Tojo clan, as hundreds of armed men were already looking up at the sky. "There he is! Knock the bastard out of the sky!"
"Get him!"
Before Elias could react, a massive man leaped from the ground and into the air, grabbing Elias and knocking him out from the sheer force of his speed.
Elias awoke with cold water being poured onto his body. He looked around quickly to see Zarbo, Marie, and a tall man standing in front of him.
"Marieee!!!!!" Elias yelled, trying to move, but realized he was chained to the floor of the dark room.
"Where are-"
"We are in the mighty clan's hidden rooms. Only few know of this place. This…strange place." Zarbo explained as he turned around and pulled off a black sheet, revealing two cocoon flesh-like objects. They both pulsated with energy, as if something were inside of it trying to break out.
"Everyone already knows. Knows that it was YOU who caused the events that transpired to happen!" Marie said, pointing directly in Elias's face.
"What?!" Elias gasped.
"Why else have you been gone for one entire week? You came back turning yourself in." Zarbo added.
"At least…that is what we've told the public of our clans. You are…a criminal and a murder of millions, Elias." The tall man from Tojo clan said.
"What…what is it with you people? What are you even saying?! That I did all this?!? I haven't been gone for a damn week!! I was just at the arena!!"
"Not true. A week has past…why is it you think you seen so many bodies? We've yet to clean them." Marie asked.
(Did time move differently when I was close to those guys?)
"M-my family! Where's my-"
"No need to worry. This is one of the reasons…why you're here and not laying in the death chamber."Marie added.
"Your family hasn't been seen. We're almost positive they escaped the clan and are out in the world. It won't be hard to find them…unless."
"Unless what?"
Zarbo finally removed his hood to reveal his face. "I hate when we have to blow our cover." Marie sighed when looking at Zarbo.
The face of a black serpent with green glowing eyes looked at Elias. It's black teeth resembling that of darkness. Of death. "What's…the meaning of this?" Elias asked, fear settling into his voice.
"We…aren't the real members of the clans, Elias. Well, I should say…Zarbo and Marie aren't truly them." Zarbo said with a twisted smile.
"Foolish man. I really did…want you." Marie said as her skin turned pale like a ghost, as she revealed her face and hair. Long green hair with wet and pale skin, a being that seemingly belonged in water.
The only HUMAN amongst them was the tall man from the Tojo clan.
"What's the meaning of this?…. You two are-"
"Jinns. Demons. Whatever it is you'd like to call us. The red-eyes of god is what started the great clans. Did you seriously think the clan leaders are human?" Marie asked, biting her nail from her finger.
"The Tojo clan, Mighty clan, and the dark clan…the three clans that are aware of the true powers of the five great pillars created by our god."
"God? God ain't have nothing to do-"
"Don't you dare…talk about YOUR god. The red-eyes. They were created by the great spiritual being. It was the way to counter the other eyes. Thanks to the red-eyes user, it is why the clans exist. Why OUR side holds the powers of the supernatural world." Marie explained.
"Heh…ahaha…AHAHAHA!!! You all…I don't even wanna know about the history or anything. All I wanna know is if my family is truly safe or not? What were you about to offer me?" Elias said.
(God is the almighty, but why…why do such spirits and evil live amongst us?)
"The offer…you shall die in this lock. Die all alone in this shell of flesh and jinn energy. When the time comes, you shall be reborn into this world, not a jinn nor a human, but a mixture. This lock is a jinn ability from one of the great princes of Hell. You, Elias. You were destined to die in combat today, but fate..something stopped that from happening. The great princes showed themselves in the physical world in their symbolism bodies. When something is fated to happen from them, it will happen unless another force somehow cleaves what was once bound. You're…special to something. To someone? To reality? I wonder…what is your job in this world or great coming future?" Zarbo hissed, as he opened up the lock, revealing a dried and tall corpse.
"You shall become one with this vessel, then emerging from it, like a caterpillar evolving to grow its wings. If you do not accept the offer…your family will be hunted down and killed." Marie explained.
"Heh. Like you could really find them-"
Marie punched Elias in the face, knocking a tooth out from his mouth.
"Don't you get it? This offer…it's a CURSED deal. Once a deal is made, not even the dealer can go against their word. We mean what we mean, Elias. So…what's your answer?" Marie asked, standing over Elias with a glare in her eyes.
(You'll lose.)
(Is this what he means? Lose my humanity? I've heard, once one is a jinn, it's hard for them to contain memories of their past. Mainly their happiest moments. Eye of God. Eye of the Devil. If I were to accept this deal, I'd ultimately would be sacrificing myself for the sake of my family. However, it's my dream. My dream for them to go beyond the clan's mountain and grasp. For them to go beyond this cage! This prison! For them to create families and generations of their own bloodlines. That's…my dream. Will our baby girl truly…be safe, Zoey? Heh…not that I've got much choice. Forgive me, but I won't be reunited with you in heaven…my love." Elias lifted his head, he looked up and smiled at Marie. Marie tilted her head, giving him a confused expression.
"Do you not fear what's about to happen?" She asked.
"No. Because my family…can live out their lives in peace. I'm grateful for that. God truly…answered my prayers!" Elias said proudly.
In such a world that can be covered with darkness…light always somehow manages to shine through the dark clouds and leave an impression that's almost permanent into anyone or anything that light touches. Light can shine, no matter what darkness that's around it. At the end of it all…light beats darkness in this world.
******
Malice's eyes widened, as he pushed Ahana away and looked around. "A warrior. A warrior who…heh. Should've died long ago." Malice saw Ahana flying at him. Malice held his hand out.
"Stop." He said.
Ahana forced her body to stop. She looked at Malice with anger filled in her eyes. "You'll lose. Pit of hell. Something changed my fate." Malice uttered to himself. Malice slowly flew towards the ground, landing softly on it as he walked up the lonely street.
(What's he doing? Why has he suddenly changed?) Ahana thought as she floated above him, following him quietly.
Malice picked up a piece of glass, as he rubbed his hand across his face. (This isn't me. This isn't the proud father…loving husband…nor the warrior you once knew.)
Malice tossed the piece if glass to the side and looked around once again. "The darkness that I've created. All of this for…my family. How could…I have forgotten…" Malice fell to both his knees, his voice cracking and his shoulders shaking.
"My child! My…my family!" Malice said as he punched the ground.
Ahana landed behind him, her energy glowing as she gripped her two swords tightly in her hands. "What…are you doing?" She asked, patients running thin. "You…you aren't…anything like he was." Malice whispered, his long hair blowing in the wind as Ahana looked at his back.
"What are you talking about? Stand and fight me-"
"I ran into an eye of god user. The same powers that you possess. However, you…you're almost like me in this…this monster. You have so much desires to kill and harm. You don't even live or preach the word of god like he did. Ahana…what the hell…are you?"
Suddenly, Ahana could hear voices of screams inside her head. (WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?! ANSWER ME!!! AHANAAAA!!!!)
"What was that?" Ahana whispered to herself. "I'm a human who was born with this power! I'm not sure exactly what it is you're trying to say or do, but I won't have it! You have to pay for what you did…to…to…."
Malice could hear Ahana's voice breaking. He turned his head to see her also on her knees, putting her hands to her eyes and balling out. A shout and scream of anger…with also pain and regret.
"You…you killed the one person…the ONE person I found to be…a friend! Someone who made me feel like a kid again! I cared for him! And you just…TOOK HIM AWAY!!! YOU! YOU took him from me! So…stand up! We're going to finish this! Me and you!" Ahana cried, holding one sword out and towards Malice with tears falling from her eyes.
"You say I'm not like the other god eye user you've ran into those years ago, but I don't think they've ever been through half the things I've been through! I have no memory of my parents! No childhood, always on the run! My own damn brother wants nothing to do with me! No ONE has EVER had my back!! You took that away!!"
Ahana looked at Malice to see tears also flowing like a river from his eyes. His eyes were still blank, but the tears fell.
"You haven't the slightest…idea of life. You should've always thought this way everytime you take a life or feel the urge to. Your bloodlust…it's a cancer that will destroy you in the future. I took this form and the deal…only to protect my family. I was created to serve them on this mission. I gave my humanity away all for their freedom. I am truly sorry about your friend, but I did all this…for their sake. And…for mine."
"Tsk! For yours?!" Ahana spat.
"…yes. I too…want freedom."
"Are…are you asking me to…NO! No,no,no,no,no!!! You don't get the easy way out! Fight me! Attack me! Give me…a reason to…hate you…" Ahana said in a shaky voice.
"I submit. You win…Ahana-"
"I SAID FIGHT!!! I won't let you…just give me the win!"
Malice looked deep into Ahana's eyes, her hunger for victory over him…spoke to him in his heart. Malice could relate to that feeling. The feeling to win the correct way.
Malice put his index and middle fingers together, using all of the remaining energy he had created and had leftover, putting it at the top of the two, creating a tiny ball of energy. "Ahana…this is everything I've got. If you fail to stop this, half of this state shall be burnt to nothingness. I intend on killing you…however, I believe…in faith and blessings."
(Will god allow me to finally die? Is THIS where I'll lose, god-eye user? Is Ahana, by chance…the being that changed my fate? If so…what does me encountering her have to do with anything? Hmph. All well. For now, at least, I shall honor this thing and give it the finale it wants.)
"FON'T YOU DARE HOLD OUT, AHANA!!! LET US SEE IF MY LIGHT CAN TAKE ME TO THE DARKNESS!!!" Malice roared, the ball of energy growing in size and power, it's shape causing powerful winds of destruction to form.
Ahana pointed at Malice, one foot ahead of the other with her body turned to the side. (He's throwing everything he has into this attack…it's a risky move, but from the sheer pressure alone…this is it. He'll have nothing after this attack! He won't even be able to chant his moveset!)
The two locked eyes, their energies rised into the dark sky, bursting through the clouds. Ahana's fingers twitched, setting off Malice and making the two immediately chant their attacks.
"Jinn slayer attack: Great light of the afterlife!!"
"Jinn slayer attack: God's light ray bang attack!"
Ahana's golden light shot at Malice's pink beam. The two beaches themselves for the impact coming.
The beams clashed, blowing away even more of the small town. It's winds were enough to lift the street off of the ground.
(It's heavy. To have such strength as a child is…truly extraordinary. Ahana, without a doubt is…the strongest there is!)
Malice and Ahana came to a stalling point with their clashes. The beams held together in the middle, one side illuminating the light and the other supporting the darkness.
As Malice and Ahana struggled against each other, their minds began to wander through their own thoughts and memories.
(Ahana…why is it you don't listen? You're reckless! Ahana! Ahana! Ahana!! Why is it that I'm…always ruining things?....you're truly….my blessing. Life is all about mistakes. Learn from it, and keep on growing.)
(Joey. Mandy. Harvey. I'm…sorry. Especially…to you, Harvey. You protected me when I didn't even know it. I couldn't protect you in the end, but…I promise, Malice will fall today! This is for everyone. Everyone who's been involved and died because of these soldiers…this is for them!)
Ahana felt a hand placed on her right shoulder. (Who…could this be?) she thought.
On the other end of the beam clash, Malice stood, putting everything he had into the beam, leaning foward to release every ounce of strength.
(I have forgotten you all. I've turned into…this monster. Was it worth it? Was it worth casting away myself? My soul? All for you all to live outside the clan? Ab…absolutely! It was a prayer that was answered! No matter how dark the consequences may be, my prayers were answered for you all! I'm not a good person. I've done wrong in this body. For that, I will be going to hell. The eternal flames that shall burn me for all eternity. That is what I want. What I deserve. please, if there's a god, please. Answer this last prayer! I beg you! I…deserve this. I failed them and myself. One last attack…to determine who's truly the best! An attack that shall decide our fates!)
"Here I go, AHANA!!!" Malice roared as he unleashed his full power.
His beam pushed Ahana's back, Ahana fell to a knee from the force. "I can't lose! Not today!" Ahana yelled as her beam began pushing Malice's back to the halfway point. "Don't you dare give out! This is what I call a fight! Struggle! A last stand!" Malice said as he then raised his energy even higher.
"Rraaauuugghhhhhh!!!!!" Ahana yelled, her beam beginning to push Malice's back.
Malice felt multiple hands on his body. He turned his head and locked eyes with his daughter.
"You're-"
"This…this has always been your happy place. Family and fighting. Dad, I just wanted to say…I…I got to live the best life I could have ever dreamed of! All thanks to you. Thank you! Thank you…so much!" His daughter said as she fell to her knees and kneeled down to Elias. His daughter then grew into an adult, her hair longer and she was much taller.
Malice cracked a smile and turned his back, looking at Ahana through the beam clash. "What in mysterious ways you work! With this final push…I'll end this battle! Aaauuugghhhhh!!!!!!!" Malice's beam grew in size and strength.
(I'm glad. I'm glad you all got to live the life I dreamed you all could!) Malice thought.
(Fight. Keep pushing! Let it all out or even more people are going to die! Do it! Harness it! You've got to take him down now!!) Ahana thought as she raised her energy, her beam fighting back against Malice's. The sheer pressure from the blast began cracking open sky itself, as if reality was beginning to split and change.
"….SOUL ENCHANTMENT!!!" Ahana yelled, her beam finally shot through Malice's, hitting his entire right side.
As Malice was being burnt, he couldn't help but feel satisfaction from the defeat. (This is…absolutely…the best fight I've ever had.)
******
The smoke had cleared, along with the massive crack in the sky, and the dust cloud. Ahana was now standing over what remained of Malice's body. His right side had been completely erased from his body. Malice could only look up at Ahana, who had a killer look in her eyes, standing over him with both of her swords gripping tightly in her hands. "Ah. Han-"
"Tell me, Malice. Do you… regret what you did?"
"Heh. I…think…the only….one…regretting is…you-"
Ahana pinned her sword against Malice's head. "You just don't understand do you?! You…what you did here today. You killed many people! So, tell me! What is it you feel in this moment?! You're about to die. Die all alone with no one around to care about you or even know about you. I want to know if there's something…SOMETHING that you can feel! So you can feel half of what I do!" Ahana said with a crack in her voice.
"….would you not kill for him?" Malice asked, his eyes looking deep into Ahana's glowing eye. "Would you not fight for him? Sacrifice people for him? I'm the bad guy…for wanting the best for my family. That is how you see it. However if you were in my shoes, you would've done the same for him. I do…feel regret for killing these people, but it had to be done to draw you out. To…protect my family at the time. I was ordered to obey all missions given. In exchange, my family would get to live beyond the great clan."
"You turned into this because of-"
"Family. My…light." Malice said. His breathing turned ragged and he began to wheeze softly.
(Light. Light is something people cling to in the darkness, but…we would kill for our light. Protect our light. Our dreams. Our sanity.) Ahana thought.
"I sacrificed myself for my family…and I sacrificed others for them too. There are some people who would sacrifice their light for the sake of the world, but not me. Not you…either, Ahana." Malice explained.
Ahana lowered her sword and looked around. "All this destruction…when my attack hit you, it didn't just hit you physically, but I got a chance to look 👀 not your soul." Ahana said. Ahana stepped away and smiled at Malice.
(This is fake, but I know…this is what you would want, Elias and Harvey.)
"I hate you. I also understand and forgive you for taking him away. Elias, you did…magnificent. I won't forget you for years to come. May your spirit pass the trails that await you and if you don't…I hope you're truly happy with your decision. Rest…well….Elias." Ahana collapsed to the ground, laying face first in front of Elias.
