Ye Zhen was woken up by the Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit, Achou.
The Cloud Winged Tiger King Kitten was flying with the Mirage Dragon Pearl, while Ye Zhen was cultivating inside the Mirage Dragon Pearl Sequential Space, which is a realm of its own.
Even though Ye Zhen and the Cloud Winged Tiger King Kitten are connected through the Divine Soul, in case of an emergency, it's impossible for the Cloud Winged Tiger King Kitten to notify Ye Zhen when separated by a realm.
However, the Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit, Achou, due to its ability to freely traverse in and out of the Mirage Dragon Pearl, can easily communicate between the realms.
Before cultivating, Ye Zhen had Achou on duty so that if Kitten encountered any trouble, he would be notified immediately.
Upon being notified, Ye Zhen didn't exit the Mirage Dragon Pearl right away, but instead extended his Divine Sense outside to observe the situation.
He decided to act after understanding the situation.
