Chapter 15: On the Road

– Rose 'Raven' Edwards –

The road to Whiterun is fairly long, as Gerdur warned it could be three or four days on foot. Maybe a week if you're being leisurely about it. Skyrim is just a massive place and the road infrastructure isn't great.

This road isn't bad, because Whiterun is a trade hub and this is the path traders from Cyrodiil would take. Plus, Fenrir gives us several advantages over just travelling on foot. He can run faster than most horses, though he has to move slower than his top speed to make sure the carriage survives the trip, and he doesn't need rest. He likes it, the big baby, but he could do the entire trip without pausing. We could do it in less than a day, I think, if we traded out who was guiding Fenrir. As smart as he is, I don't trust him to know directions, and I don't want to wake up and find he's fucked off to Ivarstead or something stupid like that.

But it would be too unnatural to rush the entire thing in a day so we're at a pace to get there tomorrow night. We'll camp for the night, which is usually fairly dangerous in times like these, but aside from Salonia, the rest of us can hold our own, and frankly? The wildlife seems oddly worried about something.

Patting my giant dire wolf's fur, I chuckle. Who knows what has them so spooked. It would take a stupid, desperate or extremely dangerous monster to willingly attack a group guarded by a vampiricly-empowered dire wolf. Animals have a sense for these things and most make themselves scarce when Fenrir is around.

People are less predictable, especially when it's four attractive women travelling with no escort. If it wasn't for Fen, we'd look like easy pickings. So naturally, I had Aniza cast an illusion to make him look like a regular horse. Like I said, easy pickings, and while I have three willing blood bags, I like to drain my meals to the last drop.

Then, we followed the river and found a nice quiet spot to set up camp by the side of the road. A nice fire to let anyone nearby that we're here, with no real effort to keep ourselves quiet. I had Salonia, dressed in her finest, driving the carriage during the day while I rested inside, setting the bait nicely.

And with war, banditry and deserters at an all time high for Skyrim? It didn't take long for my bait to get a nibble.

Looking around the camp, I smile to myself as I admire the festivities. Camilla got the first pick as a baby succubus, and she picked the dark elf of the group. He had some magic but… well.

With purple-tainted chains binding his arms above his head, he won't be casting any spells today, I don't think. Not that he's in a mental state to do so as Camilla drains him, his face utterly entranced even as his essence is drained (as well as his seed). She needs to get stronger and every drop she gains will empower her further, and magic users are a fine vintage for succubi. I'm not surprised she gravitated toward him.

Salonia picked second, as she rides her Orc. I wanted to give her back some confidence after the goblin thing and while I can fuck the trauma out of her, I need her to regain some of that extrovert confidence and noble arrogance if she's going to play her part in my plans.

I've decided she needs a bodyguard anyway, and the enthralled orc will be entirely subservient to her, placing her life and happiness above everything else (unless I say otherwise). She does her work during the day when I am often asleep, and really, what vampire doesn't have an army of thralls? Vampire lords don't do their own grunt work, they have minions for that.

So, it's time to start building my collection of disposable minions and I already have the tools for it.

[Implanted Opinion]

Allows you to implant a feeling, opinion, or even a personality trait within a victim that they will believe is their own.

[Tabula Rasa]

You can wipe a victim's memory clean, save for their learned skills, leaving them a pliant effigy of themselves, ready to be moulded to suit your desires.

Normally, Implanted Opinion is for adding in a little extra. Putting some spice on an already finished meal, you know? But, when you wipe the plate clean first, the spice is all there is. You can build them from the ground up, into exactly what you want. Anyone worth keeping becomes all mine, to wipe clean and mould them into whatever shape I want.

Salonia will benefit from having a handsome bodyguard who will do anything and everything she asks without question.

There was a wood elf as well, but he had a small cock and Fen needed feeding. He's been pouting all night about having to drag the carriage. I might actually have to get a couple of horses and turn them into ghouls when we get to Whiterun. He tolerates it, but he's so damn pouty. At least body disposal is easy with him and my Mimic friend, and it isn't a bloody meal because… well, there's no blood left. He doesn't mind.

Fenrir, not the elf. The elf minded.

As for my entertainment?

Gripping a set of curvy red hips, I let out a satisfied sigh as I pound Aniza. Tiefling pussy really is amazing, it has a heat to it I've not experienced yet and Aniza didn't want to play with one of the bandits so she got me instead. She's the least corrupted out of the party, and with each thrust into her tight tiefling cunt, I sure as fuck change that. She's already too charmed to refuse me, but I can't risk her having a crisis of faith at some point when we hit Whiterun. I think her Sanguine heritage gives her a natural resistance to corruption, but resistance isn't the same as immunity and her hips move back to meet mine as I grip her tail by the base, stroking it gently as she gasps and moans. She knows the risks of this, that letting a succubus fuck her is a mistake, but she does nothing to stop me as I take her from behind, gasping as I sheath my magical cock inside her and unleash the corruptive demonic seed directly into her womb. No Merlin required.

It's good to be me.

Pulling out of the exhausted girl, I roll her over and give her a quick kiss. I wasn't draining her lifeforce, but her mana was too tempting and she's sleepy because of it. She doesn't need to worry, as I trance her into a sleep, looking around before I head over to Salonia.

The haughty noble bitch (affectionate) is too busy lording over her slave to notice my arrival, but she certainly notices when a massive succubus cock takes her exposed asshole. Her orc is big, but I'm as big as I want to be and that means I'm always the biggest at the party. I still find it funnier to make my cock be pink and sparkly, looking more like a magical strap-on than a real fleshy futa cock, but it feels the same for both of us, and her ass tightens as she takes a large phallus in each hole.

I don't mind her going mad with power… as long as she remembers that she's always going to be under me.

– Next Day –

After raiding the bandits' camp, we moved along but as we got closer, I realised I had to check something. See, in game, Cicero is always in the same place when you arrive. He's right outside the Loreius Farm, failing to get the farmer to fix his cart.

He stays there until you start the Dark Brotherhood quest, but I want to understand just how 'game accurate' this place is, so rather than head straight for Whiterun, I made a detour. I also wanted to check out a certain asshole's farm as we passed it, since Babette told me to kill Nazeem and I don't intend to fail her. I even got a glimpse of the man himself, lording around his farm. We made eye contact as well, because people do like looking at me, and a glimpse is all I need.

[Submerged Directive]

Your mastery of Mesmerise allows you to embed commands into the victim's subconscious that will trigger after a delay or upon a certain condition.

So, as we ride along the road and spot a broken carriage, I can't help but beam as I gesture for us to pull aside. The girls give me some confused looks, but Aniza has already realised that I somehow know things I shouldn't. Luckily, this is a world of prophecies and magic so I can get away with a lot.

"Hello, Brother!" I say cheerfully as I approach, cutting off Cicero. He freezes, blinking for a moment but it doesn't take him long to catch on. "Having trouble getting Mother to her new home?"

"Oh, joyous day!" Cicero says, giggling cheerfully. "To find family even in this cold, cruel land, our Father must be smiling on us! As you can see, these bumpy roads have been most unkind to our dear mother! Stuck here! Stuck! And the cruel, stupid, farmer won't help poor Cicero fix his wheel! No hospitality at all!"

I wonder if the farmer realises how close he is to being brutally murdered.

"Don't worry, brother. I'm sure I can… convince him otherwise. I'm Raven, a mere initiate and new daughter to our Mother, but I do have a certain silver tongue," I promise. "Actually, Camilla. Be a dear and go and talk to the mean farmer, would you? I'm sure you can bring him around."

"Of course, Raven," Camilla beams, skipping over toward the farm.

"Raven, what is this about?" Aniza asks quietly, but I just smile.

"Aniza, meet Cicero. Keeper of the Dark Brotherhood, transporting the Night Mother to her new resting place," I say simply, her eyes widening as Cicero turns to her with narrowed eyes despite his unchanging smile. Aniza gathers herself quickly, the story-loving Bard in her overwriting what little morality she has because the Brotherhood remain legends, even in this time. "When you get home, do send Babette and Astrid my love!"

"Of course!" Cicero agrees, pausing as Camilla returns down the pathway with an utterly enthralled farmer behind her.

"Vantus here says he can fix the carriage, and he's very sorry he left you waiting," Camilla explains, turning to him. "Aren't you, Vanny?"

"I- yes, whatever you say, Mistress," Vantus mumbles. My enthrallment is subtler, but Camilla is still learning control and has basically brainblasted him with her charm effect.

"How kind!" Cicero agrees, clapping happily.

"Oh, Vantus, you have a nice house. We'll be staying here tonight," I explain, getting a dumb nod from him as I spot a high elf woman running down the path, looking angry and confused. Her husband did just abscond with a barely legal girl after all. "You have a nice wife, too. I'll be borrowing her as well."

"Isn't that nice, Vanny?" Camilla purrs. "Now, get to work already. You don't want to keep me waiting, do you?"

"O-of course," Vantus agrees as I intercept… Curwe, her mind provides.

"What is going on here-" Curwe starts, a scowl on her lips. She's very much middle-aged, wrinkles and sagginess, seeing her husband surrounded by attractive women. Ah, jealousy. Such a sweet taste. Before she can continue, I simply grab her and throw her over my shoulder, getting a confused gasp from her at my strength which turns to shouts as I carry her back to the house, Aniza preventing the sounds from travelling to the guard tower we passed on the way here.

– Salonia Carvain –

Raven had grand ambitions.

She knew that these troubled times wouldn't leave them alone, but she also understood that power alone wasn't going to solve whatever this chaos was. No, she needed wealth and influence, and Salonia intended to acquire both for her.

Raven was powerful, in ways that her deceased husband could only have pretended to be. Her new pet proved that, turning a worthless bandit into a loyal and… gifted bodyguard in mere moments. Some would call her a monster, but Salonia knew potential when she saw it, and Raven had more than anyone she'd ever seen, and what could Salonia do but ensure she had a place besides Raven for her rise?

Vantus Loreius signed away his farm to Raven, uncaring that he was giving up a farm that had been in his family for generations, built by his great, great grandfather with nothing but his bare muscles and his beard, if you believed the Nordic nonsense. Of course, his lack of care might come from the 'semen demon' (as Raven put it), inhaling his cock, but Camilla was a talented… negotiation partner and Vantus would agree to anything at all if it got her to keep going.

By Cyrodilic law, contracts were null and void if they were signed under duress or the effect of enchantment magic but it was very difficult to actually prove it. Especially if they never told anyone that Raven owned the farm, because they had the deed and an agreement for the Loreius family to send her a cut of the profits, but Skyrim's contracts didn't need any official reports. Loreius would simply send Raven the money after paying the Jarl his tithe and the operational costs for the farm itself. He'd also be making a deal with Riverwood, and especially Camilla's brother, to sell his goods there, further ensuring Raven's control over the village.

Vantus didn't even glance toward the creaking bed, the protests having turned to moans and squeals as Raven continued to use Curwe as her personal cocksleeve, and Salonia bit her lip. Raven had openly admitted that she was going to breed Curwe, fully stealing the farm away in the next generation by impregnating Curwe with a succubus daughter who would be bound and loyal to Raven, their power linked to hers as the two women in Riverwood were. It was insidious, but even now Salonia could think of a dozen women in Bruma who would benefit from the same treatment. She didn't have to fear Bruma rejecting her when she returned if Raven made sure they couldn't… but Cyrodiil was more magically-aware and they needed preparations and practice before such a thing.

Practice Raven was getting, as she plowed Curwe into the bed, a pair of long, near-golden legs in the air as she enjoyed her first Altmer. Aniza glanced over, flushed as she sipped her wine, but she continued interviewing Cicero about his many assassinations. For an assassin, Cicero was eager to speak to a servant of his 'sister' and shared the details joyfully.

How had Raven known where to find Cicero? It didn't matter, in truth. Raven had a gift, and Salonia intended to make sure they profited from it as much as possible. The idea of Raven pulling her tricks on a group as infamous as the Dark Brotherhood made Salonia rub her thighs together, eyes growing hooded as she watched the Nord sign away his life and freedom. By tomorrow, these two would adore Raven and see serving her as nothing but an honour.

– Nazeem –

He wasn't usually at Chillfurrow farm this late, but Wilmuth was a lazy Nord who slacked off without his watchful eye and going over the inventory had taken far too long thanks to the dumb man's poor sorting.

So, as he was getting ready to leave, hearing a heavy banging at the door made him scowl deeply at his already-delayed return to the city being interrupted further as he stalked through the farmhouse. He'd rather be in Wintersand Manor, but it was too late for him to walk home now and the guards refused to spend their time escorting him. Typical lazy fools, when he next spoke to the Jarl-

Opening the door, his angry retort died on his lips at the sight of his visitor. A young Imperial girl, barely an adult, stood before him with blood leaking down the side of her face, nice clothes torn apart leaving her body exposed as she threw herself at him, sobbing as he looked behind her, head snapping back and forth to try and find out what had done this.

Despite the girl's clear stress, he couldn't help a hint of arousal as it had been… a while since Ahlam last laid with him, too busy with her temple duties and the girl, Camilla, was undeniably beautiful. He had to send Wilmuth back to his quarters, as the buffoon gawked at Camilla's barely-covered body before Nazeem got her something to cover up as she explained her story, how she was the sister of a merchant in that little village Riverwood, having been attacked and abducted on the road as she travelled to Whiterun, not realising how dangerous it had been. She told a terrible tale of abuse, having slipped away due to the bandits drinking, and Nazeem promised to have the Jarl send some men to wipe out the brigands, getting a beaming smile from her as he told her she could stay the night.

He'd only offered her a drink to soothe her nerves, he'd truly had no intention of taking advantage of her, and yet-

Gasping, he clung to her hips as he rutted up into her with desperate need. She was tighter than Ahlam, and far more beautiful, and the reminder of his wife made him freeze as he remembered Wilmuth existed- he'd have to ensure the worker kept his mouth shut if he wanted to keep the job Nazeem had generously given him.

Focusing on Camilla, he tried to shake the fuzz from his thoughts, his body slow and his mind jumbled as he watched her bounce on his cock. He was- was her skin always that… pink? Wasn't she- his vision darkened, seeing her beaming down at him as a pair of leathery wings burst from her bare back.

"Relax, Nazeem~" Camilla purred, and he obeyed.

— Rose 'Raven' Edwards –

I certainly wasn't fucking Nazeem.

I do have some standards, you know?

Giggling to myself as I hear the violence inside, I slip away into the night with the beaming Camilla by my side.

"I'm so proud of you," I say, giving her a kiss as I listen to the pleas and sounds of violence going on inside.

Nazeem was using the farmhouse to hide his affair, and unfortunately for him, his farmhand caught on and attempted to blackmail him, leading to a fight. Of course, the muscular Nord easily beat the pampered 'noble', and in the fight… unfortunately, Nazeem was sent to the Cloud District in the sky.

Wilmur or whatever his name is won't deny it, the signs of sex in the house are undeniable, and the guards I… nudged into that direction heard the screams. Willy is about to be caught with the knife in his hand, and my commands make sure that he won't try to deny it. He won't be able to identify the girl, only that she left hours before the blackmail attempt happened, and he'll swear down that Nazeem had been doing this for months because that's what he remembers.

Essentially, he's taking the fall and with the level of forensics in Skyrim, nobody will have a reason to think this was anything but a disgruntled employee trying to blackmail his sleazy, already-hated boss and it turning violent.

Are you proud of me, Babette?

I thought hard about how to impress her, because I was tempted to just slaughter him in some brutal manner and dedicate it to Lord Sithis but it's too early for that and I don't need rumours of that kind of murder happening the day before I arrive in Whiterun. I've made sure the guards at the watch tower don't remember seeing my carriage go either way, and Fenrir's speed means we'll make it to Whiterun in a reasonable time that won't look suspicious, no detours from us, we just took our time on the bumpy roads!

So, Nazeem's murder won't be investigated because they already have a suspect who was caught in the act, who admitted to the crime and gave his reasons. It helps that they don't like Nazeem and already found it weird that he was at the farmhouse instead of in his manor in the noble district. An affair is reason enough for them to not dig deeper, and beyond people gossiping about who he was sleeping with, it's already solved.

I did do a funny and have Wilfred give just enough details about his lover to make people think it was Carlotta Valentia. She owns a food stall in the city and is struggling to make ends meet as she looks after her daughter in these troubled times. She'll deny it, of course, but Nazeem has shown some interest in the highly-desired MILF and he's slimy enough for people to imagine him pressuring her for sex. Maybe nothing will come of my mischief but at best, it'll give people more reason to be glad he's dead and not look into it too hard.

And the best type of murder is the one where everyone thinks they already have all the details.

– Next Night –

Arriving at Whiterun late with a giant wolf for a beast of burden certainly gets you some attention, the guards looking nervous, but Salonia has already made a deal with the stablemaster to keep Fenrir outside the gates and he's a good enough boy that they at least believe me when I say he's tame.

Mostly because being this close to an untamed dire wolf is how you lose your head and become a late night snack. Besides, Gerdur is at least known well enough for her letter of introduction to get me through the gate. It turns out, wood is in high demand and Riverwood is the closest lumbermill to Whiterun so her name carries enough weight to get me through the door with a firm warning to stay out of trouble.

It would have been more impactful if it was delivered to my face, instead of my tits, but you can't blame the poor guy for staring.

So, what's a girl to do now that she's made it to the big city? Why, visit the tavern of course. I need a place to stay, after all. Whiterun is much bigger than in the game, but the vague layout is similar enough that I can almost find my way without needing much in the way or directions. What does surprise me is the presence of an Adventurer's Guild. I know this isn't the Skyrim I am used to, but it still came as a surprise to see. I'm a little hesitant to head inside, because if anyone is going to recognise me for what I am, it's the people who handle matters of magical creatures.

For now, my main goal is to find a room for the night and put my finger to the pulse of the city. The Bannered Mare it is, then. Given that this is Skyrim, the place is already packed and I can hear it from half the city away, making tracking it down all the easier.

Aniza knows Whiterun anyway, and Hulda is happy to give us a couple of rooms for the night. Unlike the game, taverns actually have more than a single room because it's not just permanently reserved for the protagonist. I do enjoy watching her look at the five of us and try to work out how the room configuration is going to work out before she just gives up and decides it isn't her problem. One of the rooms has a king-sized bed and the other is a double. Salonia and her orc… did we name him? Eh. The point is, they get the double and I get the King with Camilla and Aniza.

But as I buy us a round of drinks, watching as Aniza immediately gets into an argument with the local bard. What was his name again? Michael? No, it was more fantasy than that… Mik… Mikael! Yeah, Mikael. Shaking my head, I get back to my thoughts.

Do you know what I didn't notice as we entered? A fucking giant being fought by Aela and the others. I was so ready to make a good showing but it just wasn't there and I slipped into the farmhouse and checked the memories of the owner. No giant attacks have happened at his farm.

Also, how do the Companions fare with the Adventurer's Guild muscling in on their turf? They are both effectively mercs for hire, even if I'm sure both would take offence to the accurate statement. Ugh, this Skyrim is just familiar enough for me to think I know what I'm doing and just alien enough to put me on edge.

Aniza is a way better bard than Micky though, and the crowds seem to agree as they bard it out. Or maybe it is just because Aniza (sorry, Anise) is a sexy 'Nord' with a sultry voice while Hey Mickey isn't so fine.

I remember him boasting about how good he is with women in the game, but he's like a six at best. Nice voice, but Anise is way better and I think Micky knows it.

Shit, now Hey Mickey is stuck in my head. I miss the internet.

I had hoped to get a foot in the door with the Companions. Yes, they're werewolves and I'm a vampire but that doesn't change anything in game. I don't know if they're going to be able to tell what I am, and if they'll even care. I don't intend to hunt in Whiterun, there's a reason I didn't feed on Nazeem (besides not wanting any part of him inside me).

If they know what I am, I use the same excuse I did in Riverwood. I was turned on the road and heard that there's a wizard who can cure me in Skyrim. Play up the tragic vampire using her powers for good. They should like that, given their own cursed nature. If they don't, I try and get them under my thrall.

I need warriors for the battles to come. I am not hunting dragons, I'm very flammable, but Aela is one of the best marksmen in Skyrim, if not the best, and having her on my side with an enchanted bow would do a lot to deal with dragon problems.

Ugh, this would be easier if I could just enthrall the important people and call it a day but Balgruuf has that bitchy Dunmer babysitter. She'd notice if he was suddenly obsessed with me. Maybe Balgruuf's brother? He seems like more of a meathead and the type to get led around by his cock.

Either way, I'm going to have to play some kind of nice until I know how talented Farengar is, because they also have Lady Mephala's sword and I want it. The Ebony Blade is just rusting away in their secret room, whispering to Balgruuf's weird son-

Hm, there's an idea.

But for now?

Sipping my drink, I spot Uthgerd the Unbroken boasting and telling some valorous tale. I think she's trying too hard, wearing full armour while most people are dressed casually, but I do love Uthgerd.

Because all you have to do is beat her ass and she becomes your willing lackey, ready to follow you on whatever stupid adventure you're going on. Very easy companion to get early on if you don't want Faendal or Sven. Good at carrying my shit so I don't have to rush the main quest to get Lydia.

Time to find out how well companions carry over to the real world, because if I can recruit the usual suspects… things are going to get much easier. Fuck your one companion limit, I want an army of loyal simps to carry my burdens.

Approaching the corner where she's boasting, I put on my best 'punch me in the face' look and scoff, interrupting her tale. The way she grips her drink tells me I've got her attention before I so much as open my mouth.

"Is there a problem, Breton?" Uthgard asks, hackles raised at the disrespect.

"You boast a lot, but a hundred gold says I could put you on your ass, no magic needed," I say with a smirk, seeing her give me a onceover with a sneer.

"You? With those sticks for arms?" Uthgard laughs, rising from her seat as the audience predictably gets excited. Fights aren't uncommon here, clearly.

"Strength is worthless without technique, but don't worry. I have both," I retort. "You've been running your mouth since I got here. I want to see if you can actually back up your words."

"You're on," Uthgard growls, downing her drink. "No magic, no weapons, no crying when I beat you."

"You're wearing armour to a fistfight?" I ask innocently, my tone just the right amount of smug as I slip in a single suggestion. Uthgard lets out another annoyed noise, before she begins to unclasp her armour. She's not nude under it, but the crowd certainly enjoys seeing her strip down to a pair of tight trousers and nothing but bandages wrapped around her tits. "So, a hundred gold? First to give up or fail to get up loses, right?"

"Agreed," Uthgard says, watching me shrug off my cloak as Aniza sighs fondly and Camilla… cheers from her spot in some guy's lap. She didn't waste any time. Good girl.

I figured it was best to let Whiterun know what kind of person I am real fast, and Nords respect strength. I'm gonna fuck her up, then I'm going to just plain fuck her.

Author's Note: Raven be doing Raven things. Camilla, being a succubus, has low enough standards that Nazeem passes.
