The sudden accident at the school sent Vera Warner into a panic. She and Victor Morgan had rushed over, only to find that Zola Morgan and Chloe Warner were nowhere to be found.
The two children's conditions were unknown, and the teacher only said that Chloe Warner was with the rescue team. Victor Morgan had no choice but to suggest they split up to look for them.
Vera had no time to waste. She nodded and said, "If you find Zola, contact me right away."
"Let me know if you find Chloe, too!" Victor Morgan shared her desperation.
The two immediately went their separate ways. Vera followed the signs to the rescue team, but the area was crowded. Some of the more seriously injured had already been taken to the hospital, making it difficult to find anyone specific.
Vera ran through the crowd, calling out Chloe Warner's name. "Chloe, are you here? Chloe, if you can hear my voice, answer me! Mommy's here looking for you."
