Lin Xinghai's Perception Power had been covering the entire battlefield. When he felt something was wrong, he replayed the events in his mind for a moment and immediately discovered that the group's Energy attacks on the black figure weren't entirely useless.
Every time Energy passed through the entity's body, its form would become a bit more illusory.
The sensation was like firing a cannonball at a cloud of smoke. Although it couldn't inflict any real damage on the smoke, the force of the projectile's passage would still disperse a portion of it.
Applying that to the current scene, it was as if their Superpowers were annihilating a part of the creature's body.
Of course, this annihilation effect was minuscule. Even Lin Xinghai would have had a hard time noticing it based on a single attack.
But when he replayed the black figure's previous state in his mind and compared it to its current one, the difference was quite obvious.
