Staring at the red dots that kept popping up on the Zombie Detector, everyone, including Lu Ping, had the same first reaction: the device was broken.
Otherwise, how could there be hundreds of Mutated Zombies on the outskirts of the city? Even a hundred High Level Zombies would be an incredibly rare sight.
What's more, the red dots on the Zombie Detector were multiplying frantically. Every second, ten or even dozens more appeared.
Within seconds, the number of Mutated Zombies detected on the device jumped from one hundred to two hundred, then three hundred, four hundred.
They had traveled less than a kilometer down the main road when the number on the Zombie Detector leaped to five hundred.
"Something's not right! Something major must have happened up ahead. Even if the Zombie Detector is broken and it's just detecting High Level Zombies, for so many to be gathered together, something must be going on," Lu Ping said with a grave expression.
