Chapter 614 - New Challenge 7

Even her breathing seemed stable, as if she had not wasted any of her energy, and she showed no sign of panic when others would.

The red eyes of Una narrowed slightly as she continued to observe what was taking place. 'This is very bad. Those movements seem all too similar to my own and all of theirs, but it seems unique to her own style.

This is not quite like the Minks that I have known in the past. There are so many unique things about her that defy what I knew. Most Minks usually fought with their Electro, their physical capabilities and their instincts.

She, on the other hand, seems to possess an awfully high level of mastery of a wide range of martial arts techniques. The worst part of it all is that she is already at a high level, but she seems to be improving the more she fights.

It is like she is absorbing everything her opponents send her way. I made a mistake in sending the others out first. They are not equipped enough to deal with this kind of monster of an opponent."

She came to that conclusion after watching for a short while, which was enough to prove that she had observed everything well enough to understand the situation.

She knew what her people were capable of, so she was well aware of what had just taken place.

Alyssia may have been challenged by them at first, but that stopped being the case after a little time had passed.

Any form of gap that there could have been due to the unfairness of the situation disappeared once Alyssia was put under enough pressure.

It was not long before Alyssia started pulling out moves of her own as her tail, toes and fingers flicked out in smaller but more precise movements, sending out powerful wind bullets toward the targeted areas.

Each of them carried enough force to hurt anyone hit with them and to pierce through anything that was not sturdy enough to stand up to any of it.

While Alyssia was pulling off all kinds of variations of movements to evade, she was using such tiny movements to send back her own attacks.

They were smaller and more targeted as they strategically aimed to disrupt the rhythm of her opponents, who were working together to corner her and to restrict her every movement.

Her every attack was aimed at making them move out of the way or to be delayed enough by them taking on the hit by blocking or clashing with it.

They were not attacks that would harm people like those who possessed such strong bodies and a high degree of mastery over the types of Haki they had mastered, but they could still wear them down and delay them in various ways.

By making those types of moves, she was able to prevent various coordinated attacks from being so effective, as she was able to disrupt them enough to create gaps in their formation of attack and defence.

Those tiny disruptions freed up her movements, allowing her to move a lot more freely.

It gradually reached a stage where she could move around enough to put herself in more advantageous positions.

Making use of her speed was one main aspect that allowed her to start slipping into blind spots within their formation to start sending out powerful kicks that were more difficult to avoid at such a close range.

The time that it took for her to kick out once was enough time to attempt an attack on each person she was attacking at that time, before the others were able to reach her after adjusting their position to get to her.

There were many times that Alyssia used one of them as a shield, making them move around that person to be able to get to her.

By the time that had happened, it was already too late for them to do much, whether Alyssia missed her attack or was able to land it.

It was tricky at times for her to be able to land a hit with them, possessing such a high mastery of at least two types of Haki.

Their mastery over Haki was so advanced as to allow for the use of greater sensory capabilities and unique abilities, with all of them being able to read the flow of others' movements to predict their future actions or to perform similar feats.

It was not so easy to overcome that, especially if they aimed to evade her attack, which seemed dangerous to them, and they saw a future that resulted in them being hurt a lot.

Even if they could not fully evade it, they still tried to shift their bodies enough to try to meet the attack with their own or to try to make the attack hit a less vulnerable part of their body.

The usage of their Armament Haki was very precise and refined, allowing them to cover those parts of their bodies enough to reduce some of the damage to themselves.

Parts of their armour served to protect them in many ways, but with each attack, cracks began to show on the areas that had been hit with Alyssia's impacting kicks.

The fight itself started to heat up further as Alyssia was moving all around enough that she could not be caught and would slip into the right position to quickly attack before retreating again.

The process repeated as the damage on each of her targets started to accumulate.

Each of them suffered quite a lot as their armour was torn to shreds, and their Haki had been used up quite a lot.

Even with the protection of their Armament Haki, they were still covered in scratches and bruises.

She only used her physical capabilities, yet there was a clear enough gap between herself and them after she had gotten used to fighting them all together.

The shield that had been used by Honour had been left with many deep dents in it, causing the overall shape to change.

If it took any more hits to defend himself and the others, then it would be reduced to a state where it would no longer be useful.

It was more possible that it would break upon taking a couple more of her hits despite his best efforts to reinforce it with his Armament Haki.

Even their attempts to attack her during the times she hurt their allies were too short for them to catch her.

Rather than being stuck in a power struggle, she chose to make use of her own force, along with the force of her opponent, to send herself away much faster each time she needed a quick escape.

Even their own attacks were being used to her benefit in many ways.

As the fight progressed, Alyssia noticed something a little odd.

They were being damaged, but the moment she looked away from Generosity, who had been the most damaged by her, when she looked back, Generosity was looking even better in such a short time, allowing her to get back into her peak performance once again.
