Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Loki and Hawkeye both turned their attention toward Jack. The atmosphere inside the damaged Helicarrier corridor instantly became tense. Smoke drifted through the air from earlier battles, and sparks occasionally jumped from damaged electrical panels along the walls.

Loki narrowed his eyes.

"So you're Jack?"

Jack stopped about a meter away from him and casually placed his hands in his pockets.

"That's right. Your father is Jack."

His relaxed attitude immediately irritated Loki.

Loki suddenly laughed.

"Haha... I've heard quite a lot about you on Earth. You're certainly an extraordinary figure." His eyes carefully studied Jack from head to toe. "In fact, I appreciate people with ability. But there is one thing I want to know."

His smile gradually faded.

"Was it you who took my Casket of Ancient Winters?"

Nearby, Natasha struggled against the invisible force restraining her.

"Hawkeye! Wake up! Snap out of it!" she shouted.

Hawkeye glanced toward her and answered calmly,

"I am awake. In fact, I've never felt more clear-headed."

His voice was frighteningly sincere.

Jack looked back at Loki and smiled.

"The Casket of Ancient Winters?" He shrugged. "That's right. Your father took it."

Loki's expression immediately darkened.

"It really was you."

A dangerous aura spread around him.

"Return it to me."

Jack laughed.

"And if I don't?"

Loki's eyes flashed coldly.

"Jack, I know you're powerful. Everyone on Earth fears you." His voice became heavier. "But don't forget something."

He stepped forward.

"I am not human."

"I am a god of Asgard."

Jack looked at him for several seconds before speaking.

"A stupid god?"

The disdain in his voice was obvious.

"That title suits you perfectly."

Loki's face twisted.

"What did you say?"

Jack waved his hand dismissively.

"Loki, you're just a clown. Please recognize your own status."

For a moment, silence filled the corridor.

Then Loki burst out laughing.

"Hahaha!"

"Jack, you really are as arrogant as the rumors say."

His smile became cold.

"Fine. I won't argue with you."

"Return the Casket of Ancient Winters, and I can allow you to serve under me."

Jack immediately looked at him as if he had heard the funniest joke in existence.

Meanwhile, the invisible restraint holding Natasha suddenly vanished.

The instant her body regained freedom, she turned and ran.

However, after only a few steps, she discovered she still couldn't move properly.

"What did you do to me?" she demanded.

Jack didn't even turn around.

"Nothing."

"Your little boyfriend is taking care of that problem."

Natasha gritted her teeth.

She hated how casually he treated everything.

At that moment, Loki exchanged a glance with Hawkeye.

The meaning was obvious.

Hawkeye immediately raised his bow.

An arrow shot toward Jack from point-blank range.

The distance was so short that most people wouldn't even have time to react.

At the same time, Loki, Hawkeye, and several subordinates retreated rapidly.

Because they knew something important.

The arrow wasn't ordinary.

It contained a high-yield explosive charge.

Jack casually reached out.

The arrow landed perfectly in his hand.

He examined it curiously.

"I heard your arrows contain powerful explosives."

He tilted his head.

"I wonder how strong this one is."

The next second—

BOOM!

The arrow exploded directly in Jack's hand.

Fire surged outward.

The explosion melted portions of the nearby steel walls.

Shockwaves blasted through the corridor.

Even Natasha was thrown backward by the impact.

Loki laughed loudly.

"Hahaha!"

"Idiot!"

"You actually grabbed it with your hand!"

His face was filled with satisfaction.

In his eyes, no human could possibly survive that.

Then the flames dispersed.

Jack was still standing there.

Completely unharmed.

Not even a scratch.

Loki's smile froze.

The expression on his face became priceless.

Jack looked at him.

"Who exactly is the idiot?"

For the first time, Loki's confidence wavered slightly.

But he quickly recovered.

"Jack."

"I underestimated you."

His voice turned cold.

"But do you think this is over?"

He suddenly raised his hand.

"Open fire!"

Gunfire erupted.

Dozens of bullets shot toward Jack from every direction.

The corridor echoed with continuous explosions of sound.

However, something terrifying happened.

Every bullet stopped in midair.

Not one reached him.

The bullets simply hung there, frozen.

Jack looked at them lazily.

Then he snapped his fingers.

The bullets reversed direction.

Instantly.

Several armed men didn't even have time to scream.

The bullets returned faster than they had been fired.

Bodies collapsed one after another.

Within seconds, everyone who had opened fire was dead.

The corridor fell silent again.

Hawkeye's eyes narrowed.

Even under Loki's control, he understood how terrifying Jack was.

Without hesitation, Hawkeye fired another arrow.

The arrow streaked forward.

Before it reached Jack, it suddenly reversed direction.

Hawkeye reacted immediately.

His body twisted sideways.

The arrow missed him by centimeters before striking the wall.

BOOM!

The wall exploded.

Debris scattered everywhere.

Jack nodded approvingly.

"Good reaction speed."

He looked directly at Hawkeye.

"Unfortunately, I still have use for you."

"Otherwise you'd already be dead."

Loki could no longer tolerate the situation.

With an angry roar, he charged forward.

The scepter in his hand glowed with blue energy.

"I'll kill you!"

Before he could reach Jack—

Jack disappeared.

Loki's eyes widened.

The next moment, Jack appeared behind him.

BANG!

A powerful kick landed directly on Loki's backside.

"Agh!"

Loki was launched forward.

His body flew through the air face-first.

He smashed into a steel support pillar.

The entire structure bent from the impact.

For several seconds, nobody spoke.

Even Hawkeye looked stunned.

Loki slowly stood up.

His face was full of humiliation.

"You..."

"My what?" Jack asked.

Before Loki could answer, Jack appeared directly in front of him again.

His hand shot forward.

Grabbing Loki by the throat.

The God of Mischief was lifted into the air effortlessly.

Loki struggled violently.

Dark Asgardian energy erupted from his body.

"Hateful!"

"Die!"

Powerful magical energy blasted outward.

Yet Jack didn't move even an inch.

He continued holding Loki's throat as casually as someone holding a chicken.

Jack shook his head.

"Your power is much weaker than Thor's."

"You rely too much on equipment and tricks."

Loki's face turned red.

"Hateful!"

Golden armor materialized around his body.

The magical equipment enhanced both his strength and defense.

Seeing this, Jack smiled.

"Armor?"

"Useless."

Then—

PA!

A loud slap echoed through the corridor.

Loki's head snapped sideways.

A bright red handprint appeared instantly.

The entire corridor became silent.

Even Natasha stared.

For a second, nobody could believe what they had just seen.

Loki certainly couldn't.

His eyes widened.

"You..."

"You slapped me?"

Jack nodded.

"That's right."

Loki's body trembled with rage.

"I'm a god!"

PA!

Another slap.

"I'm Loki!"

PA!

A third slap.

"The rightful king of—"

PA! PA!

Two more slaps interrupted him.

Jack continued calmly.

"So what?"

Loki's head swung back and forth like a pendulum.

The mighty God of Mischief was being slapped repeatedly in front of everyone.

Even Hawkeye looked completely dumbfounded.

Nobody had ever treated Loki this way.

Not even Thor.

Loki finally screamed.

"Stop hitting me!"

Dark energy exploded around him.

Two powerful blasts struck Jack directly in the stomach.

BANG!

The impact finally pushed Jack back slightly.

Scorch marks appeared on his clothes.

Jack looked down.

"Not bad."

The damaged skin healed rapidly before everyone's eyes.

Loki's expression became even uglier.

"Don't look down on me!"

He roared furiously.

Jack simply shrugged.

Then—

PA!

Another slap landed.

Loki spun through the air three full rotations before crashing onto the floor.

When he finally stood up again, his face was swollen beyond recognition.

His handsome appearance was completely gone.

His cheeks were puffed up like balloons.

His lips were swollen.

His eyes were nearly squinting shut.

He looked more like a beaten pig than a god.

Jack crossed his arms.

"I'm not looking down on you."

He paused.

"You're just trash."

Loki pointed at him while trembling with rage.

"You..."

Jack instantly appeared in front of him again and slowly raised one hand.

Seeing that familiar motion, Loki actually took half a step backward.

"How do you want to do this?" Jack asked with a smile.

Loki stared at the raised hand.

For the first time since arriving on Earth, the God of Mischief felt genuine fear.

"What..."

"What exactly do you want?"
