Chapter 160 - A History That Should Not Exist

It was late in the night when Lena finally surrendered to sleep. The quiet had crept in slowly, like a patient shadow, settling into every corner of the room. Dylan watched her for a moment longer than necessary, as if memorizing the stillness in her breathing, then reached over and turned off the light. Darkness folded around them, soft and absolute, and soon he, too, drifted into sleep.

Night has always been a strange companion to humanity. It carries with it both peace and unrest, a delicate balance that few truly notice. For most, it is a time of surrender, a gentle slipping away into dreams, whether shaped by the day's events or born from buried desires and unfinished thoughts.
