As Shard and Emilia ran hand in hand through the snowy forest, the Dream surprisingly became more stable. Shard was puzzled; he had no idea what he had done:
"But this is good... So Emilia really likes running."
Yet the Relic's awakening effect on Emilia continued to subtly influence the Dream's evolution, because it wasn't long before the two saw a large lake ahead that couldn't be bypassed. Emilia slowed her pace, and at that moment, the surrounding scenery became blurred again:
"No, no way, I can't go into the water!"
The Elf Girl intuitively felt that their run had reached its end, but Shard resolutely pulled Emilia forward:
"Trust me, as long as you are willing to hold my hand and move forward, the path beneath our feet will keep extending."
