We made the newly repatriated nations forget our secret before they boarded the ships. The Kaiser and the Empress of Dysan was allowed to remember us. One by one they took off and I had a feeling I need to keep an eye on the next problem. I wanted my family safe. The ones who were on peacekeeping mission promised to be careful. They promised to double check their belongings. To not accept any packages. Do not deviate. No exploring and don't accept drinks from strangers and coworkers. I apologised profusely. I felt their kindness and love. I am sad they had to live so restricted. I promised a pay raise, spa treatment and some time in the casino planet as guests. They asked me to forget about it. I just want them to have fun and be happy. I also don't want them to come in harm's way. I wondered if we will ever find peace.
I sat on my throne and when Axel came with a message. I was summoned to Aris Embry. I chose to decline. He sent the reply as soon as possible. The Queen kept asking me to come. I told Axel to ignore her or come up with excuses. I am tired. I was trying to navigate a way out of the disasters. Axel kindly sent a Bjørn to find out what was going on. Thirty seconds at the most' Ivar and Axel made bets that she would be screaming for her security to air lift. Oleg countered, 'My wife can scream and sent her to the next life.'
Oren asked Ezra if he could double the sentry since she might consider sending goons to get me. I begged them to let me do something. Everyone told me to curb my enthusiasm. I am allowed to hurt a person as a last resort. The rest of them is allowed to have fun too. The spiral sent a message that ship was coming as them very fast. We reported it to the senate and the law enforcement. She was reprimanded. I insisted we move our money because she will try to steal it. The money was moved the day before our account was hacked. Whoever it was only saw a few Valutas maybe twenty Demut and five Dusk. Valuta is a circular coin and is made of gold with a crescent shaped hole in the middle. One side had the constellations while the other is written we are all interdependent. The other coin in silver was called Demut. It was square and had a triangular hole in the middle. One side had gunships the side says united we stand. The last coin was Dusk made of bronze. It is a coin shaped as a hexagon and had a circular hole in the middle. One side had a branch with exotic flowers on it. The other side says every action has a consequence. The bank reported it and everyone laughed. Søren stared at me like I had grown an extra head.
Eleanor came with a notice from Queen Hazel of Malachi. She invited us to her annual ball. Our senators insisted we go since she was one of the good ones. Esme and Fiona send the message accepting her invitation. We would benefit from having such an ally. Xander prepped the new yacht that Oscar had built. I really didn't understand why we ditched the previous one but knew better to question their logic. Arabella packed enough outfits for a year and her husband Howler was laughing. Serena was taking the month off so Vivienne, Daphne and Ophelia took her place. I got dressed in Prussian blue robes and a dark navy blue coat. I had a jade mask with my red hair braided then twisted into a bun held together by jade hairpins. Oleg wore ash colour robes. Cassius called the harbour master to get the go ahead. Once all clear was given we all boarded the ship.
Everyone gets a turn flying it so today was Rhys's turn as pilot. Oren was the communications officer. He sent a quick message to Malachi shortly before take off so they won't shoot us down when we arrived. He received permission and we took off. I was thinking about the safety of my family since I was sure someone will try again. They just want to rule the galaxy and we don't want no part of it. Which is why they are trying to cripple us. Søren insists he won't allow it. Pan was out searching for suspicious package left all over since humans did that. The tour of the palace was suspended till my return. We were at the door but they kept talking. I finally had enough so I screamed. They froze. I listed the stuff we had and they checked if it was all present. I listed them, "Outfit, hairstyles, shoes, presents, purse, money, flashlight, pepper spray and jewellery." The girls checked everything and agreed they had everything so I asked nicely, "Why are we standing by the door when we could be driving there. Any strategy about eating can done as we drive." We arrived at the party. Daisy piled her plate to the height of Everest and found out some of the food was terrible. I was a picky eater so I didn't get anything till I tried some from Sonja's plate. I got some biryani, fries, fried chicken and rose syrup drink. I opened my eyes and saw everyone was smiling. I blushed red as Anya placed the mask over my face. Oren spoke in his deep voice announcing our arrival.
Hank reminded everyone their position. I wished everyone good luck and took my position. The council member Kye first stepped out with his security Kabal and Tristan. Then Oleg walked out with Roland. I had to count to twenty before stepping out. Ophelia and Daphne in the front of me while Vivienne and Tracer was behind me. The queen was greeting Oleg as I stepped down. She saw me and tilted her head in curiosity. She looked human and her dress was a light green. Her blonde hair was short and she wore a tiara made from obsidian studded with red stones. I glided over as she extended her hand in greeting. I shook politely and she escorted us to the royal steed. The thing looked like a limousine with the top sliced off. She boarded first and extended her hand. I got in and accepted hers as Oleg anr Kye boarded it. It was still for a second and the vehicle vibrated a little and I saw a bubble emerge. I wish our vehicles had it too so my entire family will be safe.
Draka said he will do what he can. Brad, Reuben and Celeste had already begun redesigning the royal cars. I insisted I will accept it if everyone gets it. I refused to be safe while everyone else was in harm's way. Our security was in the one behind us. The people were very happy to see us. They waved at me and I waved back. I felt her shock before she grinned. She was happy to find someone she can talk to without a mediator. We waved at the public as we entered the palace. She introduced her as Hazel of Russet. Oleg introduced me as Alexandria. Hazel was the first to step out and I followed her. The others came out next. The two of us were in the front and the others were close behind. The doors opened as we climbed the stairs. The building had only robots as servants.
The floor was white marble with shades of gray streaking all over. The wall was hand painted with flower motifs. The frames had gold filigree. The corridors were long but I was curious. The throne room door opened and I saw seats were already arranged. She sat in hers and I took mine. The prime minister asked me to remove my mask. The bot refused to say what else he said. I am guessing he had some rude words to say. Oleg was kind enough to explain why but the man still insisted. The queen told him to mind his manners or HE will be removed. The man clenched his fist as he took his seat. The queen was about to say something when the windows shattered. I saw men and women in all black came with guns. They yelled in their language and the bot translated. They have taken the queen's first born as a hostage and they will hand him over if she handover her rule to the king in the southern district. The man was on his way to accept it. He will be the king of this world.
I got up and walked over slowly. The man pointed his gun at me and Oleg told me to stand down. The twins explained I was in mom mode. So I am not going to listen until the threat is eliminated. I dropped my cloak and took off my shoes. Then sped off at top speed. I knocked them down and Signe asked nicely, "Tell me where the Prince is. Or my queen is going to hurt you." I swiped the blood from his shirt and raised my mask to lick it. I saw where he was and my dearest went and got him back safely. I slide the mask back on and I put on my shoes. Ivar put the cloak on me as I apologised to my husband. He forgave me as the kids were disappointed I was going soft. I used to be very strict. I explained, 'Queens are not allowed to implement certain things. So I am straining myself." I sat on my seat and the queen was grateful as her son was returned. The security came forth to inform the Queen that the southern king was at the border. He demanded total surrender or he will open fire.
Oren was still on board the yacht. I really need to name that ship. Anyway he was already firing up the engine. He flew over and announced," To the southern king please go back to your palace or you will be fired upon. I repeat go back or be fired upon" Oleg asked the queen for permission. She granted it and Oren fired the solar lance. It melted the enemy ships. His forces decided on a tactical retreat. He stood his ground. He took his gun and fired a round. It shattered my mask. The prime minister stared for a moment then his breath hitched. The king did the same. They admired my face and I turned around. I picked up the pieces as Vivienne stood in front. I didn't look but I felt the king was dragged away by his general. Oleg carried me back and we began discussions. The entire time I felt the minister stare at me like he was a blind man seeing the sun for the first. I kept my eyes on the queen and my dear Oleg.
