Chapter 1 - The Demon King

On the mountains far in the north stands a kingdom. in all of its city's there was one big building, a clock tower. Below a certain tower was a city full of screams, there was fire everywhere, and crumbled buildings ruled the streets. Bloodied citizens aimlessly ran away from the cause of the chaos.

Towering over the City, was a construction shaped like a large turret made of adamantine, the hardest metals on the planet. The weapon was standing on a circular base with walls of concrete. The barrel itself was half a kilometer long, with a seventy meter diameter. Its barrel had glowing red, white, and purple engravings, at least a meter thick, running down it. The weapon was known as MR3

MR3 was a weapon of mass destruction. A Mana fueled railgun so powerful, that if fired at full power, it could wipe out a kingdom.

The weapon sported the insignia of the one who ruled it, A black base with 2 Scarlet horns, and a head with no facial features other than a demonic smile.

Standing above one of such marks, at the tip of the barrel, was the one who commanded such a monstrosity.

The man stood at an imposing 6'0. He had long blonde hair tied up into a bun, his face was that of a tyrant and his pitch black eyes only fueled that Visage.

This man's name was, Spencer Van Far-thorn, or more commonly known as, The Demon King.

He was no Demon, a "normal" human. And yet, he was the closest Being to a Demon on the planet.

King Far-thorn, or Spencer as we will call him, was a man of ruthlessness. He destroyed city's on the regular, ended the lives of innocents, children included, but he never lost a wink of sleep.

He had smarts, the instincts of a predator, and the blessing of the God of War. When ever he spoke, his words struck fear into the hearts of his subjects, when he took a step, the ground shook, when he breathed, the air became cold. He was a monster among monsters, a plague of humanity, the scurge of nature.

Far-thorn lifted his hand, before slamming it to his side, signaling the crew of MR3 to fire once again.

The crew themselves didn't want to fire, but they knew that if they didn't, a fate far worse than that of those on the other end of the barrel would befall them.

Beginning the procedure to fire, the engravings across the barrel began to shine even brighter, as Mana gathered in the adamantine and silver coils inside the weapon. After ten seconds, the barrel shook with power, and the countdown began.

*BOOOOOM*

A deafening explosion rang over hundreds of kilometers. A Beam of pure Mana, with small shards erupted from the bringer of death known as MR3.

After the beam however, came the true mayhem. Although MR3's first firing phase is quite the spectacle, it's power was weak, it was only the extra Mana absorbed by the Coils inside the barrel.

Exiting the barrel at Mach* 7, was a bullet, with a slightly lesser diameter than MR3's barrel. The shell of the projectile was made completely out of meteorite-Gold alloy, one of the hardest metals in the universe. The bullet itself was made of fully enchanted Adamantite, the greatest Mana conductor humans have access to.

When the ball of destruction known as a bullet, hit the ground, all that one could see was darkness, or more accurately, they couldn't see anything, because they had gone blind. When the projectile impacted the ground, it created a flash of light 1000x brighter than the two sun's in the sky.

After the flash of light, a deafening sound and Shockwave spread from the explosion, quickly approaching MR3. All whom heard the sound bled from their ears right before being ripped apart by the shockwave.

Everyone apart of the crew of MR3 wanted to vomit, accept one man. They had just killed thosands if not tens of thousands of innocents young and old alike, and yet, Spencer smiled. And for the first time, he spoke,

"Beautiful, truly beautiful. True equality is what we have accomplished today. Young, old, Man or woman, it doesn't matter, they still fell by my hand." His voice was that of a God, It was deep and gruff, but had an eerie charm to it, like that of a teen to a haunted house.

Strangely enough, his tone was similar to that a caring older brother when he spoke of the death he caused.

He looked upon the destruction with demonic smile before retreating to the control room.

But when he arrived, there was no one to be seen. He began to search for the crew, but even after an hour of searching and 3 rounds around the entirety of MR3, he found not a single soul.

"Curious, if I see them again, I will have to question them." Spencer Said with slightly furrowed brows, complete disregarding the missing crew of over 600 men and women.

He was annoyed to say the least, MR3 was a humungous construction, and the only way to move it around was through spatial magic, but without his crew, he would have to conduct the ritual to open the tunnel himself.

Not to say, that he couldn't do it alone, it was just an inconvenience.

Giving up on the crew and presuming them dead, Spencer traveled to the observation deck of MR3. However when he arrived and gazed outside the window, his jaw dropped.

There were no two suns or pale red sky. Outside what he saw was a green sky and flickering lights similar to that of the northern Auraras. With large mountainous regions in the distance and a small town in his front, it seemed that Spencer had been teleported.

"Did the crew activate the tunnel formation without my knowing and run? No, that couldn't possibly be it. MR3 automatically alerts everyone on board when the formation is active." Spencer pondered the situation, wondering how he and his masterpiece had arrived in this place.

"Even if the crew managed to engage the formation without triggering the alarm, that would not explain the sky. Although I am aware of the other worlds in our system possessing sentient life, the tunnel formation's range is only 5000 kilometers." The more he looked at the situation the more confused Spencer became. With no logical explanation Spencer began to speculate the, illogical.

"Divine interference? No, I would sense the aura of a God. That leaves one explanation. I have acsended. But that's even more unbelievable, when someone ascends, they must take the Gods' test, but I have done no such thing. That leaves 2 options. One, I have ascended without taking the test, and two, some weird shit I don't kno-?!" Spencer spoke to himself before the loud thudding of the door intrrupted him.
