Chapter 111 - Author's Notes (Volume 4)

Hello my dear readers, Siegburn the author here.

I think I've improved both in writing and narration in this volume, don't you?

Well, let's get to what you want to know...

Q: Is what happened here identical or similar to Otome Mob?

A: Sadly it's similar, but I assure you the topic of the sacred tree won't be something you'll only see here; it will also appear in my other projects and is more important than you think.

Q: Is Lucy a clone of Noelle? Is Sara the same with Louise?

A: No and, NO! The theme of the gal girl and the girl who bothers her is something I liked; I'll explain more later.

Q: When will you talk about Rugel and the reason Ixion feels something weird there?

R: With time, it will be talked about; that's why the arc is called the introduction.

Q: Is the spin-off relevant to the story? Also, why is Liam a girl and the girls are men!?

A: That's something you'll have to keep reading to find out. What I can tell you is that in the spin-off, things that are never talked about in the main story will be discussed since Rudel has no interest in the world. Or do you really think he'd want to travel willingly?

Q: Ixion didn't betray Rudel, but does that mean he left his edgy desire to destroy humanity?

A: Umm... I'd say it's more like bipolarity than anything else.

Q: The novel is going very fast; I mean, everything feels like it's moving at a hurried pace.

A: I'm sorry about that, but the plot per volume advances at its own pace. In fact, in this volume is where the time that has passed since Volume 3 has been mentioned the most. That is, since the day isn't mentioned, only the days or weeks or months that have passed are mentioned. That's why in this volume we're about to finish the first semester of the 2nd year.

Q: The fanservice as a contribution to the queen's and girls' plot was very short! I want to see them more, not Erselica's reverse harem!

A: I think the same, but we have to give more screen time to characters who are overshadowed by them.

Q: Rudel was as idiotic as before or even more; seriously, didn't he understand that clearly Lucy wants him?

A: Sadly his denseness is based on his 0 experience with women. I partly hate that he's this slow, but if suddenly he became a ladies' man, it would be very forced, and I'm sure you don't want to see a Rudel who thinks with his other head.

But I promise that in the next volume he'll stop being more idiotic. Also, terrible problems are coming because of that.

Q: What song did Lucy and the others listen to? I'm very curious.

R: They were listening to "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Q: When the physical version to buy it?

A: Someday, and I hope you can buy it UwU.

Now that we're done with the questions, let's go with the information that surely caught your attention.

Q: What the hell is that about an otome game!? Are the developers idiots? Is Liam the replacement protagonist, since Airi was actually the true protagonist?

Let's go part by part...

The game, I mean the idea was to make an otome game; I mean I wanted to make my villain mob. But then I said no, but then after Volume 3 I realized I could make those developers more terrible than we think.

For you to know, it's not something I made up; in fact, there have been cases where the staff of a game of a different genre has given ideas to another. Nowadays we know it as "being inclusive" or "family-friendly theme," but here it's worse.

As you read, Airi is more important according to the game and has more magical power than Liam. That we can see since there's no one else in the world who possesses healing magic. Water magic can only heal to a certain degree, which is why they use healing elixirs to help.

That means that when Airi (hopefully it truly happens since Erselica ruined the current kingdom's situation) the event where she becomes a Saint occurs, more things about that mysterious being will be revealed.

To finish, I want to announce that I'm starting a new novel; it's of an otome game theme. It won't be like Mobu, but it also won't be like Rudel. I'll just say that what Diana said about that developer and her game that was used to inspire the romantic role in Rudel's game won't be left in the air.
