"All right," Solis said finally, moving closer to Noir and caressing his chin, making the younger man look up into his eyes. "I'll do as you say, my little darling. We shall share weal and woe."
Noir blinked in surprise.
Solis chuckled helplessly. "What can I say? I don't want to see hurt – but if the only two choices are hurtful, I'd choose the one which causes lesser damage to you," he murmured. "But please, Noir – let me share your pains, too, I beg you. Don't hide away from me."
Noir nodded and a slow smile bloomed on his beautiful face, and his chocolate brown eyes acquired a shining, glazed caramel look.
Solis couldn't help himself and pressed a gentle kiss to Noir's brow.
"What a dramatic couple," Fenice remarked coldly. She turned to Tygr and raised an eyebrow, clearly mocking him. "Are you sure that one is born of your seed, Brother Tygr?" she asked. "You have no emotions at all, and this cheap son of yours seems to have only emotions and nothing else."
