Leamor blinked in surprise, unsure what he was to do.
"Do not worry, sir. You won't have to take the serum. We simply want someone outside of Conjora to explain to others whether what we're doing is a success or not."
The man accepted after hearing that and walked up to the stage. With everyone watching, he didn't really have a choice in the first place.
Ning then looked toward the Veronoth section, immediately locking eyes with the woman.
"Captain Maelis, you shall be the one to take the serum."
Maelis' expression changed immediately. She looked toward the princess, who didn't show much emotion except to give a simple nod.
President Morstell moved closer to Ning.
"What exactly are you doing? This is not part of the presentation."
"It'll help demonstrate the serum."
Leamor and Maelis approached the stage from opposite sides.
President Morstell leaned toward Ning again.
"This had better have a very good explanation."
