The guard leads Kurai back to his cell and leaves
"Now it's time to wait" said Kurai
Kurai lays on his bed, pondering about his new job as a Knight Commander, he suddenly remembered about Akai Calex's recruitment by the three heads of the prison
Kurai stood up and looked at Akai's cell to check whether he's gone or still in the cell, a look of surprise appears on his face as he sees Akai in his cell but this time without any cromsteel restraints on his mouth
"So he did accepted their recruitment" said Kurai "i wonder what job he picked"
2 days later...
The guard that escorted Kurai to the warden's office arrived and called both Kurai and Akai Calex to the warden's office
The floor guards opened their cells, the two leaves their cell and looked at each other before following the guard to the warden's office...
As soon as they enter, they are met with four figures, the three heads stands in a line on the left side of the office and in the middle stood the fortress leader of the Winter Highland's 7th Fortress, Sentinel Tigreal
"Stand in a line" said Sentinel Tigreal
The two quickly stands in a line
"Prisoner Kurai Himitsuno and Prisoner Akai Calex" said Sentinel Tigreal "the man who got caught in an experimental security trap for trespassing into Winter Highlands territory and the lizardman who got caught by a Jailer for robbing an affiliate of ours"
"Small correction, my purpose was for exploration not trespassing" said Kurai
"I'm not buying it" said Sentinel Tigreal "i investigated your origins throughout the whole northern west region of the continent, it concludes that you just popped out of nowhere in the inner city of the Xylon Empire, i don't care whether you have secrets or not but if you dare lie to me about things that i can find out myself, you will see my wrath" said Sentinel Tigreal
".....i'll stop talking for now" said Kurai
Sentinel Tigreal takes out two spatial bags attached to his belt
("My spatial bag!" said Kurai "the other one must be Akai's)
Sentinel Tigreal gives them their spatial bag back
"There are items and equipment inside your spatial bag that corresponds to your rank, We will accept you with open arms, however, we still have our eyes on you two"
Kurai checks his spatial bag and sees a full set of armor, a sword, and 5 healing concoctions

"Knight Commander Kurai Himitsuno will follow me to the fortress barracks where you will find a vacant room as your accommodation"said Sentinel Tigreal "you will br given two days to adapt to your new environment and communicate with other knights before you are assigned to lead a team of knights"
"Jailer Akai Calex, the three heads will train you the necessary steps to become an effective Jailer, you will be given a week before you are given your first mission"
Kurai looks st Akai Calex in surprise ("he chose to be a jailer?, atleast he can travel to other places i guess")
"Stop your staring and follow me before you get a disciplinary warning for turning your head in front of a higher rank officer" said Sentinel Tigreal
("Well aren't you a "little" strict" said Kurai)
