Liam and Kai were enjoying their lunch,they became kinda close since the incident with shen mu happened a month ago .
Though Kai was taking things a bit fast seeing as he was already imagining their wedding and how cute Liam would look in a suite,when his and Liam's relationship hadn't even progressed to a actual relationship yet.
And Liam and his naive brain didn't even once think of Kai in that way,to him he was just a good friend who he could vent too.
After lunch they headed to the courtyard and sat on a bench in the sun.in the short silence,Liam decided to ask somethings he's been rather curious about.
"So,how come your here in prison?"
The dark haired man smiled "well to have fun,of course!"
Liam was left confused."but what crime did you commit to come here?"
"I didn't commit a crime,let's just say I have my ways to end up here that needed no crime to happen"
Liam didn't believe his words,and Kai could tell,by his cute confused face."here's a deal if you tell me how you ended up here I tell you how I ended up here too"
Liam looked up at this man and smiled at his idea.
"Ok well it's a long story but I can give you the short version…"
"No need I have all the time and I'm rather interested in your life version "
"Alrighty well about four years ago I moved to China from Australia to start my career and at the time I couldn't find any good apartments that weren't already taken,then I found a condo listed by someone who was in need of a a roommate so I then moved in."
Kai was intrigued already,he finally find out how he had such unique features like his natural blonde hair and blue eyes,it seemed one of his parents were Aussie.
So then Liam continued his story"a couple months later me and my roommate already became best friends we vented to each other,helped each other when one of us was needed help,just like any bffs would do for each other,but one night when I was making dinner for my boyfriend at the time-"before he could finish Kai cut in"
"Boyfriend?"Kai was hoping this so call boyfriend was just a thing of the past ,but even if it was for some reason he was still jealous.
"Yes,my boyfriend,I was making dinner for him and my best friend shen mu ,and while I was chopping up Some veggies,shen mu made a pass at me while boyfriend was sitting on the couch,and he told me how he loved me."
"that's when my boyfriend heard all this and him and shen mu got in a argument,and when shen mu asked me wether I wanted to be with him or not,I said no.I though he would just got to his room and be over it by tomorrow but when he came out I was surprised, I noticed the gun in his hand"
Kai looked at the still smiling man,and although he was hearing a story of the past he felt like it he was experiencing it in Liam's position,which was making his emotions go on a roller coaster.
"He pointed it at my boyfriend,I was frozen and my boyfriend kept telling him to calm down,but it was like shen mu put everything on mute,I yelled and screamed and asked him to put the gun down ,when he saw the fear on my face and how much I cared for another man that upset him even more, he put his hand on the trigger and shot him over and over again,until he stopped moving."
The smile that was once on Liam's face disappeared,his face now with no expression on it,though Kai could notice that sadness in his big blue eye's.
"When I noticed he was not breathing i grabbed my phone that was near me and dialed 119,and when shen mu heard me talking to the operator,he stabbed me in the leg twice with the knife I was holding in my hand before I could even tell them what had happened,he grabbed the phone from me and told the police I went crazy and shot my boyfriend because I found out he cheated on me"
"What did he say when they asked how you got stabbed"Kai asked with a sad expression,though it barely showed.
"He told them I got guilty and stabbed my self as punishment ,and by the time the cops got their they cuffed me and no matter what I said they didn't believe me,I thought the gun would be evidence that would prove my innocence,but it seemed shen mu already got rid of his finger prints on the gun before anyone had even got their"
Liam finally smiled again,"well that's my story"he said with a sad aura around him.
Kai couldn't believe what he had just heard,he wanted to kill the man the second he got a chance too,he had so much anger built up in those few minutes,but he realized for the moment he would have to put all those thoughts at the back of his head as he looked at Kai he couldn't bare to imagine the pain he went through.
And yet here he sat with a smile on his face telling it.
