Interlude — A Day in the Life of the Nuragumi
After the battle we had against Nataku of the Twelve Demon Fingers, the camp where we lived ended up ruined.
Almost all the houses were destroyed.
The Supreme Commander had told us that this place was no longer usable, so we had to demolish it and leave everything as if no one had lived here for centuries.
So, after setting up our tents to sleep, we began dismantling the place.
"Leave it to me."
Shiba was the most excited.
He drew his katanas and was ready to attack.
But he was hit on the head by Genpachi.
"What the hell are you doing, Raidou?"
"That's my line, you bear-brain!"
"We need to demolish them, not scatter their remains all over the place."
Shiba — or rather, what I'll call him now since I appreciate him, Kurosuke — got angry with Genpachi.
"There's no easier way to fix all this than by cutting it up!"
